well today is my lucky day, I won a model 80 on ebay and a model o type 2 with the vertical spark plug although the model o has no spark poss mag problem, im hoping it is just dirty points from sitting for so long!!
I will make a vid as soon as i get them and start tinkering again
fantastic, I know the story well My first stationary engine was a jap model 80 2stroke but i am still looking for a replacement, although the model O is sweet and I may have to find one of them as well :)
Thanks, I thought it was a Model O, ive seen a few at engine rallies, i want to get one to restore or either a running one, i have more bigger jap and villiers engines and other vintage engines.
Thanks for your comment!! I went a little bit overboard when i made the base for that one!! I might get the whole lot satin chrome plated one day, and restore the motor itself too!!
i love this vid i watched the whole thing i recently bought my own little engine but yours are so much cooler i gave your video the second five star rating it deserves
Thank you for your lovely comment!!! I do love my little engine!! After i lost the first one, i looked for one like it for about 20 years. When the internet came out, i searched for hours, but i could not find any references to an engine like mine at all. I did see one photo of one, that a man in the USA had, [I am in the UK] but that is all. Now though, i have got loads of them!!!! [Is it eleven??] Anyway, one day i will get them all going and make a video of the whole lot all running at once!!
