Question... I like to scratch into a new record, and then after a short beat mix back scratch or back spin or brake stop, is it possible to have deck a playing scratch into deck b the go back to deck a for the back scratch out?
I took one look at you, and then one look at ur headphones and I instantly stopped the video and erased it from my memory. I felt the need to say that.
The SCS.1D is an outstanding midi turntable, it reminds me of the Numark TTXUSB in terms of significance. Technics, TTXUSB, then SCS.1D... turntable evolution at its best!!! In needs to be updated and have USB inputs to avoid be outdated and a strip search feature like the NS6 would be nice. It would be interesting to get some feedback from some skilled turntablist.
Btw, great review, thanks for posting and sharing!!!
This is a great controller and Stanton has yet to update the software for use NI Traktor Pro 2. I use it with TP1. I was thinking about selling it but after seeing this video something is telling me to keep it and get a second deck. Great video.

Would you rather suggest 2 SCS.1Ds or the numark NS7 for scratching? And how is the crossfade on the SCS.1M for scratching? Is it nice and smooth and can you change the curve?
@ZeroHrz You can change the curve in certain software like Traktor. The SCS1.D deck is ideal for scratching and the SCS1.M crossfader is excellent as well, but the NS7 is still a little more accurate for scratching.
Does it work on the pc? Or does it only work on a Mac?

Is tractor the only program you can use it for?
tonay1231 9 months ago
@tonay1231 No, it's midi so you can map it to practically any software. We've used it with Traktor and Ableton Live.

@Uniquesquared Is Virtual Dj one of the softwares that you can map it with?
tonay1231 9 months ago
@tonay1231 I think VDJ mappings are in the works. I hope so because that is a very popular software. Thanks for the comments!
