I love all the generations, the first series for Gen3 was a bit dragged but this was a new bunch and the dragging was needed to show the friendship develop because you had two loners a jock the plastics Bristol style and the two shameless best friends and they have to show how that changes . Series 6 so far has been brilliant .

Generation 3 of Skins is my least favorite. It's probably because Effy is not there, I also fell in-love with Skins by watching Generation 2. Nothing is wrong with this generation, it just doesn't feel like the ORIGINAL skins.

This series was awful, there was hardly any character development and they were so OTT and unrelateable. Frankie's "alternativeness" just felt so forced and Dakota Blue Richards is a rubbish actress. :/

However this show has always held a special place in my heart and hopefully the writers do the next series better, i'm excited for the new gay character. :D

Mini was a hugeee total bitch that had so many underlying issues but in the end she started becoming much of a sweetheart and more caring after her friends. Grace stopped people form walking all over her as so did frankie, Alo realized it was time to grow up.

The 2nd generation had a better group of actors (though that can be argued) but the 3rd generation had a better overall cast and writing department. Each generation's tone is set by the writers and the 2nd generation had uneven writing throughout their two series.They had a slow start but the 3rd generation reminded me why I loved the show.
