  • jebać szwabów!!

  • We dont have too much time left... so please! No more mommies crying in any more ghettos.... No more crying... no more ghettos... It is over now!!!!

  • O wile lepsze niż Elvisa

  • for those who think that it has nothing to do with nazism i ll put money in a bank account of ''find cure for ignorance n stupidity''

  • @mhnstelneisemail

    Chicago is Nazi?

  • I think xXzurawinkkaXx is right. No matter whether the song is actually about "negro" ghetto and suffering people in Chicago.

  • yeah i noticed too it has nothing to do with nazi's

  • The song's very good. But I think Elvis sings much more nicer. Elvis just ROCKS!!!

  • you have the wrong kind of ghetto. Talk about miss understanding the gentrification in the united states of racism. :] YAY

  • NicoNormand ma racje co getto z piosenki ma wspólnego z żydowskim?

  • those pictures are from warsaw during the second war i know the street grzybowska which was wrote on the train it was horrible how much people's hurt not only jew but so many polish inteligency because they was taken to work camps in germany or siberia by german nation it's hard to explain it's better to read something about history and try to understand in how terrible time was poland and came and see now how poland looks like only in this way peoples which not prom poland can understand

  • Sorry but this song has nothing to do with Nazi Germany. If yoy carefully listent to the first verses it is said "As the Snow fly on a cold and gray CHICAGO morning". And as far as I know... Chocago is located in the USA. Even french assholes know that.

Tihs song is about fate, and how the conditions you were born in leads a part of your life.

It is a way to see things. The contrary is true too.

  • @NicoNormand Many of those pictures are from Warsaw Ghetto Uprising in 1943. When you take into account, that Chicago is sort of centre of Polish culture in the US, you can have your connection.

  • @NicoNormand yes yes, i know now. Sorry

  • @NicoNormand certainly you right..

  • @NicoNormand I think that actually there is some ambiguity shown in this song. Especially the Irish band (The Cranberries) by singing about very far Chicago, might ment the conflict in Norhtern Ireland. This song shows that all the ghettos are the same, no difference where they are, no difference when. This song can be understood as a metaphore - even after the war people were still living in the ghettos.

  • @NicoNormand It might be about chicago but those in these pictures suffered too so same message right? Humans can be evil bastards sadly but fortunately we're not all evil...and the world goes on....

  • Great Dolores

  • I love this song but not this version........... Elvis' was so much better

  • Elvis is always better

  • I can`t say so.

  • Si, there album "Wake Up and Smell the Coffee" has a song called Capetown on the N. American release. On everywhere else Capetown was replaced by In The Ghetto, a cover of Elvis.

  • é uma versão de uma musica do elvis?

  • Elvis' version is so much better!

  • you right bud this is really a great version

  • false

  • The ghetto in the song is not about nazism, it's about racial ghettos in EEUU.

  • you're right, the pics are completely wrong

the Elvis Song is about the ghettization of some US cities like Chicago

  • @ultros Actually the first ghettos were in nazi germany, it's were they first segregated the jews from the rest of the german population before sending them to concentration camps. It's where the word ghetto came from.

  • @thebastardnerd1337

False, ghetto is a word used yet in Venice, during XIV century. :P

  • la muy tonta no se dio cuenta que el el gueto no era de judíos y gitanos, si no de negros en los eeuu

  • nice version....does it have an official video??? and from which album? pls

  • I believe it´s a bonus track on `wake up and smell the coffee`

  • It is from the album "Wake up and smell the coffee" by cranberries. But I think it's a cover of an Elevis Presley's song

  • Its fucking awesome. The voice and the purpose with the song. Totaly a favourite ! ! !

  • Great job.

Shame as when Dolores was in Chicago last year twice when I saw here I was hoping she would sing this song takes place in Chicago. She only sang it in France instead:)
