  • Yeah, turns out I was wrong about the airplane stuff, but I'm on it with the lights.

  • HOW!

  • Red is to reduce night blindness period!Thats why they use it!

  • I’m happy with my 328i, but the only performance mods are sport suspection and the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $150. Signature Motoring kit adds around 11HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money. See my channel videos!

    -Adds 9-11 HP

-Never replace filter again (uses K&N filter)

    -GREAT SOUND

-Installs in maybe 30-45 min. K&N filter lasts a lifetime.

I'm thinking maybe performance exhaust, but eh.

  • damn that car is fast! and stops so damn fast what did you put in that thing? LOL

  • Were the Little Gingle

  • lights on a Christmas tree

  • For your general info. The reason airplane instruments are red is not because of preference of the designer. It is because is easy on your eyes at night and doesn't glare on your screen.

  • my 2005 325i dont do it :(

  • I knew about the Whole BMW and them making airplanes but I didn't know about that Instrument panel being red for that reason.. Nice!

  • this is how you reset the oil service back to 15000 or wtv right?

  • MORE SIMPLE, LESS PROBLEMS

  • so what if that red is old? it's personal preference you fag.

  • You know why they've stuck with red? Well, there are a few reasons why. BMW's original heritage is actually in Airplanes (the BMW symbol represent an Airplane Propeller), then everything else. Airplanes generally use red dials, and if look at the style of the dials they are very similar to what you'll find in planes. Also, not many people know this but Red light does not adjust your pupils at night like other light would (that's why all exist signs are red, you can see them in any light)!

  • @PlaceboTree I knew about the Whole BMW and them making airplanes but I didn't know about that Instrument panel being red for that reason.. Nice!

  • @PlaceboTree

Actually, the airplane propellor rumor has been debunked. The first time that the BMW roundel has been seen was before the airplane photo. It evolved from the Rapp Motorworks, a company that BMW took over. They wanted to keep the roundel that Rapp had, so they chose the Bavarian colors.

  • @YoMomSaddam True, I came across an informal auto pictorial of the changes of different company logos on StumbleUpon and yeah it's because of the whole Rapp thing. But as for the red lights, I'm 100% certain about that.

  • @PlaceboTree You are correct. As a matter of fact, flight flashlights (used to read charts at night) have red filters on them.

  • @PlaceboTree everything is true but, in every M model lights are white :)

  • Its a series of buttons, and turning the key on and off, its not just one button. Idiots.

  • LOL looks like a christmas tree!

  • You saw what button he pressed u numpty

  • hahahah

  • what button i must to push to do this ???
