That was awesome. Before I found this. I was also planning something like this, just much longer. I'm trying to create a new productions called Slaughterhouse Farm Productions. It would be nice to get some help.
That was pretty good, I liked the scene with the scarecrow in the house very much, the music was perfect for that. I didnt like how he rose into frame when he reappeared, it felt kinda clunky instead of creepy like the initial appearance. Also I dont think I would have shown hands coming out of his sleeves, gloves would have been better. Still a fine short film and I enjoyed it! Id like to see more, it felt like I was watching the begining of a movie. I wish the contest was longer than 3 minutes
@MrBracey100- I completely agree with everything you said. It was a clunky scene and it was done 10 times over. My actor was getting frustrated because it was 95 degrees in the room and he had on the jacket and burlap sack. The gloves were a simple oversight on my part. Had very limited time to get this short filmed do to the time limit given and how late I heard of the contest. Thanks for your comments.
@rados213 Same thing happened with my entry last year, I only had a few days to shoot and edit it. Still for what it was it turned out well and I think yours did too. Are you entering this year's contest?
@MrBracey100 I am doing a music video for a local band right now, do not have anything filmed for this year. I think next year would be better. Need to get some out to festivals too
@whatupfunes Yes, unfortunately I used a sony mic plugged into the camera. It was not XLR either. Since then I have acquired a Rode NTG 2 and I use a Zoom H4n to record my voices with a boom.

@GreysSlayer I used the Panasonic AG-HMC40 at 24 fps in 1080p. Then I used Magic Bullet Looks to achieve the look I wanted.
