No. There is no preloaded sound effects. Only filters and transitions.

FCP has no music in it. But if you buy Final Cut Studio - You get Soundtrack pro which has a hundreds of tracks and sound fx.

However, the song used in this video is from the Batman : Dark Knight Soundtrack.

Obviously you can import tracks into FCP to edit with but that DOES NOT mean that FCP has music in it.

In this case - Final Cut Pro is definitely better than Vegas 9 Studio. In either case though both of those apps are just creative tools because in the end the only thing that really matters is the content, creativity and story. Plus there is the matter of price...Vegas9 Studio can be had for $99 or less where on the other hand if you purchase Final Cut Pro you'll have to purchase the entire Final Cut Studio suite which is $1299 and only available for the Mac platform.
