  • I ain't ever going outside or to the potty again. o_o

  • What's funny is when winter comes along, we see spiders less often and assume they went away or died. They are just spending the cold winter months inside of your home in nooks and crannies where you can't see them!

  • The 3 feet away thing is that dead ones too, because I can prove it wrong if it's not

  • Hey thanks lol i told my mom about the spider in the toilet and she seemed a bit freaked out :P

  • @wesppedtalkers just 2 days ago, there was a daddy-long leg sleeping on my toilet seat @.@

  • @MariaGarcia281 Wow!! O.O

  • Learn something new every day. Thanks Maria.

  • It was fun making this :-)

  • very nice video i really enjoyed it.

  • whats your favorite spider??

  • i have wacth spiders and i notice the they know which are the stick silk and dont step on it but i didnt know about the tarsi

i have seem spider doing like spiderman throw a thread in the wind and then jump i belive the they have a very good sight is the only way to know when the thread is hook

  • I love spiders sooo much but don't you swallow them when you sleep?

  • they sat that in an average lifetime, we swallow 8 spiders in our sleep........

  • that's all... almost every night I wake up coughing as if I gagged on something!

    yummy protein @.@

  • thats in a year we swallow 8 spiders.

  • in one week for me!

  • In Mexico everywhere I walked I kept getting stuck in a spider web....I have a question...why do spiders eat each other?(Cannibals much?)

  • They are very anti-social

and who could resist a meal that wanders into your territory @.@

  • By watching this video, i learned about 10 things about spiders. That's incredible, thak you MArigarcia281, i won't die this night.

  • We learn something OLD each day ;-)

    but it's new to us!

  • At the 1 picture of spider we see if we look up the head we can see a tiger or a cat...!

  • YOU ARE SO RIGHT! Click here to see it: 0:30

  • I love spiders... They are such marvellous creatures

  • wow, that was pretty cool. yet creepy because i had just seen a spider hanging from the ceiling not to long ago, and now its gone. o.o

  • that's 1 more reason why ppl find them creepy - they're hangin around 1 min then they disappear... guess they know how to freak us out @.@

  • why is there a google search on the web?

  • OHHH I HATE SPIDERS!!!!!!!!!! i liked the info but i coulda done without the spider pics.... lol. wouldja be my fwend??? :) btw i LOVE ur vids!

  • So you didn't like the close-ups ;-)

  • Yeah, I know I'm less than three feet away from a spider right now. There's like, ten in my room. I named one of them Geoffrey. Yeah, I named a spider.

But yeah, about the whole spider silk being stronger than steel, crazy scientists were able to produce spider silk in a higher quantity by making a cross species of a spider and a goat. Just look up spider goat here on YouTube, and it should come up with the video.

But yeah, that video was intensely interesting! Thanks for posting!

  • I have seen that video. They didn't make a cross species. Instead, scientists gave the goat an additional gene using a vector (bacteria). Very common procedure in today's world.

  • Still creepy in my opinion. Giving a goat a spider gene just doesn't seem right to me, no matter what profit you get from it. A goat is a goat, and it shouldn't have a spider gene.

  • We, humans, have many viruses (genes) we weren't born with... but we are still human.

  • maybe it's only men who dare to watch this spidervideo :D

  • hmmm, funny that only a male audience has seen this video (click on Statistics & Data 2 c what I mean)

  • more than 3 feet away from a spider huh? well thats nice to know, i have arachnophobia

  • holy shit. i thought spiders were creepy, but the fact that u'r never more han 3 feet away 0.0! Great vid, great music, great pics. i never rly DID wonder y, but thanks =)! i just hate the fact that they bite with those huge fangs, and when they run how they scuttle around, uuurgh.

  • gettin itchy again...

1 more thing u might already know - they also eat their web whenever possible. Lots of protein in it, yummy!

  • mmm -.- lol. But if a spider get's injured in 1 leg, than can it still scuttle on its web fast, or does it have some problems?

  • Answering Hayleyjonahsalmaan

good question! I honestly don't know, but can imagine things getting a lot tougher 4 the spider

  • Damn lol spiders are smart o_O they know how to fix the patterns of thier webs

  • good vid (i still hate spiders tho)

  • Thx!

I think it's all those hairy legs it has that makes us feel uneasy

  • aghh, not only legs, , the way they look at me, just freax me out, ,, plus i've seen those one that can jump for a long distance ,,

  • It's good to see someone with so many comments actually REPLYING! unlike smosh or nigahiga.

  • yay!

    i love your vids!

i subscribed at first only because of the illusions, but after watching all the other vids u have i must say that i like all of the same things that u do!

    keep the vids coming! :D

  • GAHH there is a dusty hole in my chair eek!

  • I actually kept spiders as pets 0.o

They were living in the hallway, they even had names :D One day someone killed them (I always told everybody not to kill those two spiders in the hallway, but...)

  • reading spider-in-a-toilet thing made me think about look before you sit!

  • I saw a beautiful web the other day, woulda took a pic but I have a camera.

    o_0

  • u always have cool vids

  • thx a lot, HellGnomez!

  • Reading that 3 feet thing made me all itchy :(

  • yeah me too :(

  • Yeah, same. Pretty creepy.

  • I remember seeing a spider on my sink, and I freaked out. It didn't end very well...

Great video! I love the part where the spider was making a web. The patterns are so cool!

  • Hurray, i know something now...but i still want to know...

Why do spiders have so many eyes =/

  • They say so many eyes are needed to detect light, motion, and darkness in as many directions as possible for food, shelter and to avoid becoming food.

  • i can detect light, motion, darkness almost all around me...and i have 2 eyes :P

  • well ya know, evolution has been slower 4 them

  • well.. just imagine them in 5 million years, with 2 eyes and fangs the size of a coke can..

    maybe?

  • I didn't wanna get too technical... but there are some spiders that have 2 eyes while others have 6 to 9 eyes in rows

There are also bird-eating spider species @.@

  • never seen one with 2 eyes O_O

but Goliath spiders eat birds :D

  • Not anywhere near 360 degrees like a spider. You can see about 180 degrees and most of that is peripheral vision, which is not as good as having something in plain sight.

  • I don't have to step outside... I've got four (that I can see) in my 12 by 8 room :D maybe because I've got the window open 24/7 at the mo while my cat is living in my room (dog visiting house)

Did you know - the small wet 'orbs' that spiders make at intervals along their web strands are not there to make flying insects stick to the web better. In fact, each tiny orb has a length of bundled web inside. It acts as a shock absorber for catching large, heavy insects :)

  • You're right, I can see one not less than 2 feet away from my computer (indoors)!

  • another great vid, thanks for helping me feel not so worthless today! ...lol :D

  • thx 4 watchin my non-illusion vids too!

  • really nice! I learned something today ^^

    Thanks for sharing!

  • WOAH!! at 1:28-1:30 you see a spider in the circles, cool illusion!

  • ok... you win

  • lol

  • what does this have to do with illusions? ha ha

  • Who said it's an illusion?

  • awesomee
