I've played the London System alot but was never quite satisfied with it but this reversed slav system with Bg5 might be something to look into. Thanks for the nice analysis and video. Intresting stuff.
Ah, well the idea of calling it the reversed slav here is to emphasis the pawn triangle - I supposed you are more accurate with the semi-slav. The Slav defence is very popular as a black defence at the moment, so I wanted people to realise it is like playing it in reverse.

Isn't it a torre attack ?

Is the pawn triangle mandatory in the Torre attack?! According to Wiki: "The Torre Attack is a chess opening characterised by the moves:
1. d4 Nf6
2. Nf3 e6
3. Bg5"
Which doesn't necessarily imply the slav defence type pawn triangle.

The pawn triangle is seen 90% of the time in the Torre attack, it's just one of those safe "triangle" systems like the Colle or London.
In the torre you also see most of the game's moves Bd3, Nbd2 Bb7 c5 Be7...
Black played too passively, he should have played c5 and d5 at an early stage and get some queenside counterplay.
Isn't the pawn triangle seen in the semi-slav rather than in the slav ?
