  • @2:57 POISON !!! best twang without a twangbar EVER !! this is one of my fave alltime movies

and it's about... ahh virtual love/friendship thanks D I forgot about this gem !!!!!

  • shes cool

  • 8 morons only tuned in to hear Ree-Ree sing Jumpin Jack Flash just pass gas

  • Nice collection of musicians, let's see:

    Ronnie Wood

    Keith Richards

    Randy Jackson

    Aretha Franklin

    Steve Jordan

    Chuck Leavell (?)

    Steve Lillywhite (engineer/producer)

...and supermoron Whoppi Goldberg ruins it all.

  • Probably my favorite on all of YouTube. Can't count the number of times I've listened to it!

  • This cunt needs to die.

  • I love those old classic Taxi Cruisers.

  • Damn Aretha looks like Tina Turner on this.

  • This woman is the goddess of voice!

  • This was the Big Dawg Randy Jackson well before his American Idol days. The fact that he got to play with Keef and Aretha tells you he must have been no joke as a bass player.

  • Is anyone qualified to comment on this piece of art

  • The best version of Jumpin Jack Flash.

  • RANDY JACKSON LOOKS LIKE A WOMAN IN THIS VIDEO

  • Wow Keith is so cool, he can be in the studio and in the control room at the same time!

  • I love this version!

  • I can't count the number of times I've watched this since it was loaded. Damn, I love it!

  • Don't forget Rony on this video ^_^

  • Lol Randy Jackson is playing bass in this video...you know the guy from Idol or whatever

  • 6 people are lost.

  • Shes great :) Hows the movie :-= was it good?

  • does anyone know were I can get ahold of the jumpin jack flash upbeat version???

  • I bet you kids didn't know that's Randy Jackson from American Idol on the hot pink bass.

  • It's all right...in fact it's a gas...oh yeah and

    Amen:0

  • ♥ #Liberty ☼ #Libertad ♫ #Freiheit ♪

  • This so outdoes the original!! Aretha is the Goddess of soul! 8oD

  • Funny how some remakes are better than the orignals, and Mick mumbles to much

  • é o som meu.... i entáo...muito

  • LOL at Aretha Franklin's look she can pull off anything

  • Ok I got the studio musician back up guitar players and the surprise guest appearance via the back door parts. But, is that Billy Preston i hear on electric keyboard?

  • Note the age of these rockers and compare them to today's twits.:-)

  • Aretha rocks!!

  • Is that Randy Jackson?

  • @DiscoverytheAlbum Yup, he is.

  • @DiscoverytheAlbum It sure is!

  • I am prayin ' for Aretha's health.

  • does anyone know if lad on sticks played with niel young on saturday night live

  • @121126 Steve Jordan. Also played in Keith's group the X-Pensive winos and in the Chuck Berry concert movie.

  • MARVELOUS "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ha! I see Randy Jackson!

  • the godmother of soul on one of the most rockin songs of all time!!! i love it!!

  • If Rolling Stones have singer like this they music will be perfect,,i like Mick Jagger style and i respect it,but some songs he really can't sing

  • Comment removed

  • Sweet mother of the muses, this is real. It has the depth of truth, not the shallowness of today's over-produce flavour of the week.

  • Love this pink bass guitar

  • Incredible voice. It's better than Jagger for me.

  • @vojtamares UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE DECADE!!!!

  • @vojtamares Are you kidding?

  • @vojtamares may be it's better that him because you used to listen him , wherever the song is really good xd

  • 4 miserables don't like jumping

  • Thank you, Lord, for giving me the gift of listening to Aretha Franklin these past 40 years or so. A talent like that comes along once a lifetime, and I'm so blessed to have heard her sing.

  • This version rocks like no other.

  • WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW..GOTTA BE THE BEST VOCALS EVER RECORDED IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC....SOUL MEETS ROCK MEETS GOSPEL MEETS THE STONES AND RANDY JACKSON MEETS WHOOPI...ALL I CAN SAY IS "ARETHA U GET IN FOR THAT ONE'!!!

  • @RUTHE1ONE Baby, you are soooooo right..

  • Good God Almighty!

  • video importante

  • Awesome!

  • sing it sister :-D

  • thats because he IS KEITH RICHARDS!

  • I'd love to see Mick and Aretha do a duet of this, along the lines of Mick and Tina doing "Only Rock 'n' Roll."

  • I love this movie its fucking rocks and its so cool

  • haha keith is just awesomeness. love him.

  • Keith vos sos fantastico!!! I really love you man! Que tal gentita linda en este video!!!

  • Keith Richards actually looks halfway decent in this video

  • @guydreamr LOL! A rarity, huh? :-)

  • I LOVE this movie and Burglar!

  • sorry people but i don't like this version.. sounds like.. how can i say---.. empty--

  • This might seem like such a stupid question lol! But is that ACTUALLY Aretha Franklin? Looks like an interesting look if it is so.

  • @thisistheending Yes it is Aretha

  • @coolsweetgroovy Yeah I posted that a year ago lol! I realise obviously now that it is. It took me by suprise, cos I listened to a lot of her earlyish stuff. This is an amazing tune, with a top performer singing it! LOVE IT!

  • @thisistheending me too

  • this is one of the funniest films iv ever seen actually am guna watch it now, love whoopi all her films r classics:)

  • Hit #20 soul, #21 pop, #36 rock in Billboard. God bless!

  • This is why she is and will always be called the Queen of Soul. My goodness! Great!

  • @journeythru - lighten up. It's not, nor was it intended to be, some all time great work of art. It's a damn fine record. Especially for the mid 80s.

  • This video is so 80s. The arrangement is not really a great one with all that 80s overproduction and my god why is Aretha dressed like that!? Plus her vocal part for it sounds hoarse (too many Kool cigarettes that day?). Keith's production and engineering segments are hilarious for how into it he seems, like he was making some sort of amazing killer song (not as bad as Rick James in "Party All the Time" though). Look closely for Randy Jackson too. Lots of great musicians in this one.

  • did she say hallelujah at the end of the song?

  • Aretha Franklin did a good job on the cover of this song.

  • I miss Whoopie as an actress-loved those 80's movies!

  • @mikado415 I do too, I loved her 80's movies. I loved her in Jumping Jack Flash, and Burgler, and Fatal Beauty an on Star Trek. I wish Whoopie Goldberg would go back to acting again instead of being on The View. I cant stand programs like that, wont even watch it. She needs to go back to acting.

  • Man, she could scream like a cyclone!

  • She can sing anything

  • fantastic song... GREAT !!!!

  • gotta love randy jackson dancing around!!

  • Wicked!

  • randy jackson is in this video

  • yeah leave the rock n roll to the whiteman and soul and blues to the blackman, this sounds really laboured

  • @73mandala dear sir/madam please go outside and put lots of wood and cardboard in a pile, pour kerosine over it and urself and then smoke a cigar while standing on top of it. kthxbai

  • So I guess her vocals were not in the gospel vein?...

  • i have a couple of aretha's gospel albums and they are great.

  • 4.48....keith po -going?...never thought I would see the day lol...peace dawgs

  • fantastica!grande ed unico film!!!

  • Aretha RULES!!!

  • dont you just love rock n roll FOREVER

  • Latest bulletin: Black soul mama states "This is my kitchen!" and takes "Jumpin' Jack" out to the woodshed. Only someone of Aretha's stature would take on a classic Stones tune, and improve it...

  • The Queen of Soul looks like a giant, rare, exotic bird...from the 80's

  • whoopi does Mick as good as Mick

  • Hilarious

  • holy shit this is awsome!

  • i was schooled with a strap right across my back

  • wow who knew they ever collabrated

  • yeah

  • Happy bday Whoopi !

    54 today, Nov 13th 2009

  • yeah... happy birthday, Whoopi.. I saw you on the view today.. damn you got some really hot birthday presents... btw, Jumpin

Jack Flash is one of my favorite movies, ever!!!! and...

    thank you, Thierry !!! xoxo

  • yeah, meow~

  • 'Anybody tell ya you look just like Keith Richards'... I lLmaorotfL the first time I saw this part of the movie, way back when..... and... Aretha reaally is 'the fly' as Whoopi would say..

thank you hugs and smiles 2U, Thierry

  • which piano is played?

  • Aretha and Stones, just Vaughan and Beatles can compares to this!

  • i think randy jackson plays bass in this vid...not to sure though

  • What a set of pipes the lady has go Aretha girl.

  • i still have the original vhs tape of this movie released by cbs/fox video in 1987

  • I remember when this song was released, I loved it! Still love it today.

  • One of the greatest rock songs sung by one of the greatest gospel/soul singers... All the bad rock posturings and questionable 80's fashion feck-ups can be excused in this particular moment of joy ;)

  • I love this side of Aretha Franklin! She looks like a free soul!

  • Aretha looks like some kind of exotic bird. What the hell was she thinking? LOL

  • that was the style in the 80's

  • HA HA, I'm sitting here at my desk, smacking out the rhythm to this! Everyone knows there must be a Stones song on!

  • Sing it, Aretha!!!!!

  • Great song.

Hmm... He DOES look like Keith now that I come to think of it...

    ...fancy that.

  • Steve Jordan on drums, i wonder if Jordan played on the recording too?

  • this was good. but tina turner was so much more energetic and better.

  • I listened to Tina's version,Tina's vocals are now where near Aretha's!!..Tina is an entertainer and Aretha is a singer's singer!...

  • @miketlow once again both r great singers and entertainers in 2 different catagories

  • love jumpin jack flash the film and adore whoopi

  • Gotta admit, Aretha Franklin did a really good job on this song cover.

  • and keith richards too

  • oh! that's randy jackson from american idol on bass.

  • now this is something adam lambert should cover.

  • cool!

  • Sing Aretha Sing. And notice how she ends the song on a powerful strong Gospelized note.

  • how does it matter if it is Gospelised? It still is one of the best things i have ever heard.

  • WOW I have never seen this clip before - It´s GREAT!!! Love the movie

  • I saw Ronnie in the blue shirt!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Why Randy Jackson (A. idol) on bass? Why?

    Could've asked Willie Weeks.

  • because way before american idol, back in the 80s, he played bass for many aritsts as well as produced and wrote songs for them. this isnt the only video from the 80s that he apapeared in. i remember this video because its from one of my fave whoopi goldberg movies.

  • Absolutely Awesome!!

  • But this scored as a top 10 hit. Tina's did not.

  • Lmao. Burn!!!!!!!

  • tina never recorded either, probably if she had no telling.

  • All props to Tina, but there has never been a soul singer to compare to Aretha until - give it a chance - Jennifer Hudson

  • REALLY? You better Jump on the Chaka channel & recomment

  • Great song!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • adoro esse som.. conheço de muito tempo.. sempre linda...

  • when i first saw this on tv i didn't recognise whoopi goldberg until the song!

  • I think I've watched this movie a half a dozen times in my lifetime, and I really don't like movies ALL that much, but you don't need to strap me down to watch this, 4 sure, it's a gas, and it takes that spike RIGHT outa my head! thxxxu, V6

  • i love this movie and Aretha!!

  • I love all of the versions of this song. You know that the Stones would not have some whimpy voice like Beyonce or like that. They got Tina and Aretha doing this song and Midler doing Beast of Burden. Goes to show you that TALENT KNOWS TALENT!

  • I don't mean to short change the Stones or anything, but I liked this version a lot. Not just Aretha's singing, but because it hit a lot of the notes hard in the instrumentals. The original version's instruments seemed a little lighter by comparison.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

  • I think I WOULD sell my south for a threesome with Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin..:):):)

  • Randy Jackson...looks...like a straight up re. tard.

  • she sucks...tina does it way better. look at tina then look at this. u notice that she dont neva dance, she just sit around gettin bigger. there are certain songs aretha can sing like(who's zumin who, jump to it,the way that i luved u,rock steady, and a few others ,but there are just some she need to leave alone. leave this to tina!

  • Hell yeah Tina Turner always rocks out to a stones song !!or any song for that matter!! i like Tina`s version better than this one but this is ok

  • Aretha does not have to dance...Her voice speaks Tina on the other hand has never really had a great voice so she has to dance...Have you ever heard some one say they wanted to be able to sing like Tina Turner?..NOPE NEVER!!

  • @miketlow it is a blessing to able to dance like that at 70 yrs of age. i hope to have that energy at that age.

  • Also Aretha is a musician and a real artist..Tina is not!

  • @miketlow remember tina is the queen of rock ,aretha is the queen of soul two different catagories thank u. both r great.

  • Yes, a truly stupid stupid movie. But a ripping groove on this track, always loved it. Aretha still had it, even if her hair didn't. Bejaysus, the 80's were something..

  • I love Whoopi, but she had some doozy of a track record of very BAD movies, in the 1980's. including this one, stupid stupid movie. Along with Burglar, Kiss Shot and the Telephone (O M G whatta stinkburger!!). Sorry W I do love U on The View.

  • i love this movie

  • Wow!! This is so cool, Aretha, Keith, Whoppi, Ron, and Randy Jackson in one place!! that is so cool!!

  • @batfan903 Randy Jackson ~ American Idol ?

  • awesome...aretha & keifer....and of course whoopi!!!!!

  • That's so cheesy yet somehow still entertaining, I guess because it's one of the greatest rock songs ever

  • wtf is on aretha's head??

  • For those of you who don't know thats Randy Jackson from American Idol on Bass

  • It sure is...

  • Keith&Ronnie so young
