Oh that was amazing and spectacular. My heart leapt when I saw the eyes of these incredible women. I am humbled and thankful for the sacrifices of my sisters. Keep fighting the good fight. XOXO DB
HOW did Alice Paul win votes for women, and what was life REALLY like for women before she did?
"The Privilege of Voting" is an exciting new series of dramatic sequential e-mail episodes that reveals ALL that happened on the very rocky road to the ballot box.
Shocking, sad, sexy, inspiring TRUE and FREE! Lots of historical photos!

And thank you Dawilli x Brought me to tears x I shall pass this to all of my women friends tomorrow for International Womens Day 2008 x Is it really less than 100 years ago we got the vote!
The thanks really goes to my mother - a hard working single mom who raised two boys to care about people and the world in which we live, treat everyone with respect and equality, and to fight for our rights and the rights of others.
This would be much more poignant if it included some men in there. Women and men can look up to each other as giants. We can take good efforts like this a step further and de-segregate women, men and their causes.
enjoy it while it lasts cunts, cos it sure aint gonna last forever, and cook me some fucking eggs!
