@debunker300 This is Allen's regular touring band--aside from the organ player Greg, no one else from this band is in that video (he does use the bassist from that video on tour though, I guess it just depends).

As for the something missing, I'd agree. I think it's because this was in the middle of a long tour, and their first time playing for a national audience. So they were probably both tired and nervous.

To all the drummer haters, the crescendo fell in line with what Allen was doing vocally! I think this version really shows the chemistry between everyone in the band. As far as inflating his role, these guys obviously don't come from just one genre, they represent many different sounds. Above all else this music is awesome

@MusicAddicti0n no he isnt. he obviously isnt a truly jazz drummer thats for sure, but his job is to provide a nice beat that fits into what ever else is happening and to match up with the bass which he definitely did. he accented what he was expected to and filled in the spaces appropriately.
