@Shary999 As long as the dog is well socialised. I took my Dalmatian to a dog park for the first time this weekend, he loved it, didn't not like any of the other dogs. But again, he's already been well socialised

You've obviously never owned a cat before. Trust me, if that kitten was "extremely frightened" it wouldn't have stuck around playing with the puppy's foot--its owners would have spent two hours trying to get it out from under the stove. The kitten reacted the way all cats do when confronting another animal, and it was perfectly safe. If it had been cornered, or trying to get away but unable to, then there would be something to worry about. Stop making trouble.

100% correct. I have three cats and two dogs. They get along fine. I had to take my cat Bumber to the vet. He was gone overnight. By bedtime all the others were upset and looking for him. My boxer who always sleeps next to my bed spent the night by the front door waiting for Bumper to come home. He exploded with joy when I brought home Bumper.
