@xIsaacKimx Unfortunately no - the app doesn't include the option to connect to wifi, it's data-only for now. Sorry!

@filipinachicka46 Yes, the app is free but it DOES use data so we recommend getting some sort of data plan so you don't get charged for usage by the MB, which can be more expensive.

You have to have a working data connection, though 3G is NOT required. =)

i have an LG neon phone but it's a go phone. can i still download that app?

@t4rheel4life Hey there - responded to this a while back but looks like it didn't post! If your go phone plan allows for data, then you should be good to go. Search the MEdia Mall website for AT&T Social Net, then select LG Neon and you'll get a download link sent to your phone. Just keep in mind that the app uses data to keep your content updated, so if you pay per MB you might want to check the go phone rates before you start using. Good look and enjoy!

also, when it updates, could you guys make it so it doesnt beep 50 times for each individual update. you could put an icon for new updates on each update, that would be less annoying.

i appreciate what you guys are doing and i hope you patch up some of this stuff cause i'd really like to use this again when it works better.

- 99% of the time when it boots up it will glitch and not allow you to exit the app.

- it starts up during calls and glitches, you'll be unable to hang up because you're unable to exit the app and will have to remove your battery (which on a neon is INCREDIBLY annoying) just to hang up.

it pisses me off, cause it's a great and useful app for my phone but i had to delete it because the problems it causes are just too much.

here's to hoping 1.5 is better.

the problems with app are atrocious, i have a neon (just like vid) besides not updating or even working for some people, when it does work:

- it doesn't flip horizontal when you slide the phone open so you have to break your neck to update anything (seriously?)

- it turns on whenever it wants and auto-start cannot be disabled, so if you dont have an unlimited data plan, forget it.

Got it. We released a new version a couple of weeks ago, so make sure you've got the latest stuff (it's 1.4 - you can check by opening the More menu and selecting Help>About).

If you've got the latest, and it's still not working, then I'm wondering if there isn't an issue with the data connectivity in your area...

Yes - AT&T Social Net uses your mobile data connection to keep the application updated, so data charges will apply.
