  • You guys do realize these people are muslim and arab right?

  • @ZephonTLucifer They're not arab, they're Berber , two totally different cultures.

  • @KhadraSquarepants They speak arabic they are arab berbers but nevertheless arab.

  • @ZephonTLucifer Many Berbers can speak Arabic AND the Berber language, it's not suprising. I know what I'm talking about,I'm Moroccan myself. And what's your problem with Arabs anyway?

  • @KhadraSquarepants No problem I just want everybody to know that arabs actually do have beautiful cultures and traditions.

  • @KhadraSquarepants You are berber but you don´t know.

  • it's ok but it looks boring! the real moroccan weddings are very exciting!

    but good job

  • love her voice =-)

  • Love Morocco, it's so different then here in the USA, I love both very much. :)))

  • Amazing singing! I'm about to leave to Morocco to serve in the Peace Corps. I'm excited to attend one of these!

  • masha'allah!!

  • i loveeeeeeeeeeee it

  • niceeeeeeeeeee video loveee thissss so much is beauty

  • morocco is arabic

  • because i am berber

    sahrawi

  • @chaabimaroc interesting this talk of origins i am irish and i know that a whole village of irish people was captured by barbery pirates from north africa centuries ago and sold into slavery the village still exists and is still empty today. north africa is a very interesting place for ethnic diversity.for example the cartheginians. hannibal was a red headed caucasian from modern day tunis.

  • the real berbers are the black africans from Mali NIGER. MOrocco is only the third country where the most berbers live.

so if you have some italian blood spanish portugese germa blood mixed with you that does not mean that the whole berber race is from GERMANY or ITALY..

you makinga fool of your self.

because berber dna is only found in AFRICA not in ASIA not in EUROPE>

in the beginning berbers where al black during time they got lighter

so annno 2012 you have different berbers

  • @chaabimaroc eyyy dude , you full off bullshit

  • @chaabimaroc blah blah blah bullshit u better stfu instead of talking shit uhave no idea about the berber history so why embarassing ur self?

  • NO, berbers origin is MALI/ NIGER>

but then again you have berbers with different looks. some can be capatives from AFRICAN SLAVERY.

the sultan of MOROCCO had in one day 40.000 europeans prissioned and they turned later in to moroccans.

before black slavery there was white slavery,

BERBERS EXIST BEFOR THERE WAS A ROMAN EMPIRE> before there was life in EUROPE> berbers lived always in AFRICA berber origin is AFRICA> but during time berbers got different looks.

  • for the last time i GO say.

MOROCCANS AND NORTH AFRICANS dont have ARABIC DNA> maybe 1%

we just speak arab because our original language is FORBIDDEN BY THE EUROPEAN RULERS> illuminati. and we now arab language because of the QURAN>

but we dont have ARAB BLOOD> just BERBER.

berber civilisation exist more then 50.000 years. ARAB language is not older then 2000 years.

  • @chaabimaroc yes they told me also that the origins of the Berbers are either Roman (Italy) is either Persian or Germanic! Am I wrong? Because I am Berber and my ancestors are Roman (Italy)

  • THE BANJO IS NOT AN AMERICAN INSTRUMENT BUT FROM WEST AFRICA>

  • turkey is not arab country. and morocco is not an arab country 2. we moroccans dont have arabic blood. just like 99% of turks dont have arab blood or dna. is like you are saing brazil are spanish people. brazil=portugese language. turkey=turks. Morocco= BERBER. we are not arabs arab people live in the middle east. by Saudia Arabia. I AM FROM NORTH WEST AFRICA> WE ARE BERBERS> and turkish people are just TURKS>

  • wonderful music ...

    i like morocco!

    jes i have a moroccan boyfriend,too. =)

  • @Fuchsii95 me too i love morocco and have a moroccan fiance

  • I have never been to a Moroccan wedding, is their any difference between a Berber and Moroccan wedding? I had the privilege to attend an Assyrian wedding, plenty of dancing in circles which was repititive as we went on and on with the same dancing steps. It was more modern I guess, as men and women are on the same banquet hall.

  • @parislovers1000 Yes there are great differences in the weddings in Morocco, some because of ethnicity and others according to which region. A wedding in Casablanca is entirely different then a wedding in the Rif in North Morocco. So to call something Moroccan wedding is in really misleading :P But all weddings contains the most important thing, dancing :D

  • yeah well banjos derived from west africa they are called donso (ngoni) google it if you dont believe :)

  • lovely! jameel jiddan! tres bell! Is this a Berber wedding? Nice to see the women band playing so well, Morocco is an ocean of rich music! The wedding ceremony reminds me of a typical Bengali ( Indian ) wedding where the ride is carried in what is called the 'doli' and a similar atmosphere envelopes the hall! very interesting thanks for the video!

  • wow . is that a berbic song ? my boyfrind is berber :)

  • ya this is A BERBERE SONG.

  • Oh my god!I think I see an instrument that looks like a Banjo.Jesus shit christ I thought that only in the american south there was this type of instrument not Morocco!

  • This is banjo....an exotic instrument that exist in moroccan kingdom before christ.

    Love morocco and moroccan .

    peace

  • By having stated that fact alone we could then say that the Banjo is of Moroccan origin, cool! Now all we have to do is take american country music and sing it in Moroccan arabic dialect and just have a good ole' time ha!ha!ha!

  • Yes why not that will be so original.....

Moroccan can sing every thing easily ...we are the best.

  • You know I've never been to Morocco but if I go I want to visit Marrakeche(I hear that it's a wonderful place!).I would like to eat moroccan food and drink the tea!Can you be my guide?

  • yes of course with pleasure.

there are many places in morocco that is worth seeing.

  • Banjo is used in almost every Arabian country especialy Turkey and Morocco

  • The singer has an incredible voice!!!

  • i had a beautiful wedding in morocco....i love this country!! it's better than the U*S*A*....more peaceful, i love the culture and the food and my family there....

  • great video brother keep it up !

  • this is so nice and cute music.

  • u wish u could be Moroccan

  • Hi i just wanna tell marackesh that generalization is a big mistake that we all make.

It's not fair to judge someone we don't know.

I believe that only God has the right to judge us. And also there is good & bad everywhere and there is no place such as Utopia.

I wish michie 14201 good luck & happy life as i wish to eveyone who is taking a new step in their lives.

    PS

I'm an Arab guy but i'm not moroccan..

    Good luck to all ;)

  • I love this song so much although i wish i could understand the lyrics..

Am not moroccan but i like their traditional music & dances. They show a deeply rooted culture & civilization of North African Arab society.

  • "Arab" is a generalization. They were there even before the Arabs.

  • Congratulations!

  • thank you from the bottom of my heart....i love him and always pray that allah blesses us even more...thanx again...~michie~

  • i will be marrying a moroccon man in november of this year 2008... i am in love, exvited, and very much into their culture...i love morocco.....~Michie~

  • i feel sorry for you

  • why would you feel sorry for me? im in love for the first time, i excited and happy...

  • no he does not want to leave morocco, he wants me to live there with him...he comes from a very well to do family, and they are very decent people...i did alot of ackground checks on them, his brothers play professional soccer for morocco...they are not poor low lifes...believe me...you just got the raw end of a deal, what you went there in 3 months a married one? i have been with mine 1 yr and 2 months & have traveled to see him many times...

  • has he ever visited you?

  • yes he has visited me, he has a passport and a visa......does it bother you that a moroccon can actually love an american without any interest in their citizenship?? i can tell you go hurt and used big time... im sorry....

  • it does not bother me one bit.and I have not been hurt from moroccan men but ive seen many girls get used. good luck to you.I know my opinion does not matter to you cause you dont know me and even if you knew me you would not listen to me.....

  • we all as women take chances in love, sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't, believe me that these men that use women to come here GOD will punish them, what they do is wrong...the want to come here because the poverty rate there is so high, but what bothers me is that they dont know how to be honest with these women or themselves...i do listen to what you are saying, if i didn't i wouldn't write back, i hope and pray i got one of the good guys, i despise liars... thanx

  • ITS I WHO GAVE YOU A THUMBS UP FOR YOUR COMMENT.i DO HOPE YOU HAVE ONE OF THE GOOD MOROCCAN MEN AND MAY YOU HAVE CHILDREN AS BEUTIFUL AS MINE.GBU .BARAKALAUFIKUM !
