@badkiller2 Calling something a clone is not a compliment. At best is a complisult. Fortresscraft is a clone. I'd argue that Minecraft is inspired by infiniminer (and others) and similarly, Uberdark is inspired by Minecraft, and others.

Also, Minecraft is in beta -- experience isn't broken, its unfinished. A released beta is not the same animal as a finished game. Learn the difference, please :)

the beta of a beta? you mean ALPHA?... did you watch the video? this game is inspired by Minecraft, but taken a step further. it just happens to be in Alpha stage still so theres almost no features as of currently. have patience im sure this game will blow up bigger than minecraft due to it being a building game thats not based around blocks. its far from a clone. a clone is something thats an exact copy. this is not exactly the same as minecraft... anywho have a great day.

What I love about this game/engine/prototype is that it doesn't use the discrete boxes/voxels system for creating/editing the world. It is way more organic than terraria/minecraft and frankly looks better. I would love to know the underlying work that goes into creating a dynamic or procedural polygon mesh.
