Honestly I would vote for Obama again ( yes I was sucked in the 1st time ) but I now know we would be worse off with McCain,Newt, or Romney in there. I don't agree with Obama either I just think of him as the lesser of the 2 evil parties and if I vote I have a right to complain about what he is doing and if I don't vote then I have no right to complain!

Ron Paul has been positioned both by his supporters and his opponents as the danger to Social Security and Medicare. This is an amazing strategic mistake by the Paul campaign. For the vast majority of the population, Social Security and Medicare are essential for survival. A candidate who is positioned as the destroyer of what scant economic protection the American elderly have is not positioned to win an election for President. Elderly and disabled life support voters are many.

@freedomination2 If we didn't have so many irresponsible people that decided not to make sure they were financially secure enough to afford their own retirement and healthcare when they become old there would be no worry about Social Security and Medicare. That's the point of a republic, the government provides you with a safe, economically sound environment so you can work to take care of yourself. @TheExMarineCop sir, just a quick note. I have been fully disabled for appx. 15+ years. I get a few hundred in ss monthly(and i was working 2 jobs before my accident), i am not a parasite,and am likely to vote for ron paul. there are many parasites ,that tick me off,because they are bad news for many of us whom are truely suffering everyday. i am just asking that the social security part of your statement be altered slightly :) respectfully.
