  • The models now days are boring compared to Holly and the others back then. The show is fun to watch, but, not like it was back then & into the late 90's. I also like the ending better back then. Now days after it's over, they show just a little of the contestant walking to his/her prizes, then they cut it off & show whatever is coming on TV that night. I like how they used to do it, keep showing the ending credits until they're done showing, then, show whatever else after...

  • Nobody came to congratulate this winner ? O_O

  • OAD November 11, 1988.

  • They did do one or two shows with electronic graphics for the end credits circa 1988.

  • Why didn't the credits ever get chyroned until 1996? If I was them, I would've used a font similar to "Late Night with David Letterman" for most '80s episodes.

  • Janice was still out because of an injury inside studio 33 with one of the cameras and eventually sued CBS for negligence.

  • At 1:14, who is the woman on the left? She looks cute.

  • @GuyverFan95

That's Kyle Aletter, daughter of Lee Merriweither.

She was filling in for Janice on these series of shows when Janice was recovering from her injury.

Kyle also appeared as substitute model on "Card Sharks" from time to time as well (mostly when Lacey Pemberton went on maternity leave). Kyle continued to stand in for Barker Beauties all the way up to 1996.

  • Holly is so cute as a baby!!!

  • video is out of sync with the audio. but still all and all good taping!
