@missburn I almost died in the hospital a couple of days ago, so I know how hard it is not to worry in a situation as bad as hers. But if I had worried about wether i would live or died the stressed would have killed me. It's hard to let go of the people you love, but it becomes even harder to continue living for them when you worry. But then again that's just my opinion, just giving my best.

Why is there a 90% chance your daughter has brain cancer, and not just a brain tumor? also, I'm surprised that you're waiting for the insurance company to approve an MRI.. my cousin was diagnosed with brain cancer a few years ago (medulloblastoma) and the minute they had a feeling she had a brain tumor, they did an emergency MRI like 2 minutes later and rushed her into surgery the next day. So I guess I'm a little confused as to why you guys haven't done any of that?
On Makenzie's youtube page, Makenzie has a disease that causes her to get bad headaches and tumors. Even if she doesn't have cancer, she will have to deal with that for the rest of her life. Though all of Makenzie's "fans" are hoping for the best, she probably has a higher chance of having cancer than the average person due to her disease. On Missy's twitter, she said they have been approved for the MRI and today was the day they were having it done but we haven't heard anything yet.

You are right...they need help, not silly games. If you pray, then at least pray correctly, don't pray god will cure her, don't pray that god will ease her pain. Instead pray that the doctor she gets is capable of helping her, since hes the only one that can. Pray its a curable type of cancer, and it's not too far gone. Don't waste time by doing nothing. Or send cash, I'm sure the family could use it in the time of crisis. Yes they need help, however the help you offer isn't help.

Praying only helps your frame of mind. It does nothing to help whoever you are praying for, that is not an opinion, that is a studied fact. Get over it. As far as your christian god, which I'm assuming you believe in, no he doesn't exist as the bible claims he does, and that is fact. beyond that sure, its an opinion.

I am a nihilist, but that doesn't change anything. Its no worse than the opposite extreme, in fact, probably at all. As for the girl in the video, yes, because every psuedo-successful prayer leads to a new generation of the ignorant and the mentally infirm. If her death shakes her peers enough to question their faith, then its a GOOD thing. As far as I'm concerned, if she dies, nothing of value was lost. Forgive me for playing into your hands slightly, but we ARE all going to die anyway.

You obviously need help. How can you say if she dies it's a loss of nothing valuable. I'm not religious, but I still hope for this little girl not to get the cancer. She doesn't deserve it, no one does, this little girl deserves to live a long and happy life. How can you be so heartless? I am not religious and do not know if there is a God, but I am not going to assume there isn't one either, so don't take that faith away from people. If a childs precious life isn't of value then what is?

Anyway, I don't mean to be rude or pushy, I'm just trying to help you guys. If she really does have brain cancer, or even just a brain tumor for that matter, sitting around waiting for an MRI to be approved is NOT a good decision.. brain tumors grow fast, especially malignant. I sent you a PM about this but no reply from you so I thought I'd ask again. Thanks.

So wait, I'm confused. Why is there a 90% chance your daughter has brain cancer, and not just a brain tumor? also, I'm surprised that you're waiting for the insurance company to approve an MRI.. my cousin was diagnosed with brain cancer a few years ago (medulloblastoma) and the minute they had a feeling she had a brain tumor, they did an emergency MRI like 2 minutes later and rushed her into surgery the next day. So I guess I'm a little confused as to why you guys haven't done any of that?

On Makenzie's youtube page, Makenzie has a disease that causes her to get bad headaches and tumors. Even if she doesn't have cancer, she will have to deal with that for the rest of her life. Though all of Makenzie's "fans" are hoping for the best, she probably has a higher chance of having cancer than the average person due to her disease. On Missy's twitter, she said they have been approved for the MRI and today was the day they were having it done but we haven't heard anything yet.
