Come on guys...it's not the shelter workers faults. They were in tears over what they've had to do....and I'm sure they're haunted by the faces they've seen that never found a home.

Spay/neuter is the answer...but I believe spay/neuter should be FREE. If it were FREE...there would be no excuse for not getting it done.

In our society (and in the world as a whole) animals are always the victims. My heart goes out to the shelter workers and vet in this video...they shed tears of regret.

In my country there is the almost the same problem, i see dogs abandoned on the streets, dogs which used to be taken care of by a neighbor or resident.

People often do it here when they are moving houses, or when the dog gets sick or old. I often even heard of this done by some in yearly basis, as if its tool to be just taken care of during their summer holiday and left outside afterwards. sad

There are still many pounds who gas them to death (which is a very painful horrible death drowning in their own vomit), some still shoot them with guns, and I heard a report in Ohio if they run out of bullets they simply run them over with their truck.
