  • great job! and boy does it work!! I would recommend a towel folded up like a cushion on your forehead. it can strengthen your neck to use a 45 but the chance for injury will increase.

    training the body is a useful and enjoyable thing,

    i did bodybuilding for years, but long ago i'm not using weights, just my body, it's more logical, to get know your body, and belive me, you can do 3 times harder exercices, without weights.. it's just the harder way, lot of work..

    it's easier to go to the gym, everything is there, done to use..you don't have to think, or really pay attention.., but it's long story, and everybody has to try it to understand.

  • well, i'll be seeing him in my sport injury clinic very soon!! In actual fact he's half way there in terms of this exercise. Boxers/thai boxers do this but without a weight on their heads! remember that your neck already has a weight on it..it's called YOUR HEAD!! You will feel more benefits to this exercise if you did 50 reps with no weight. trust me your neck will still get bigger! whether you do it the correct way or decide to be a twat like this guy...a good punch WILL turn the lights off!

  • Is once a week enough to build strength and size in the neck? I train a lot of cardio for my boxing and don't have much time to lift weights? When I do it's the compound lifts; bench press, squats, dead lifts e.c.t.
