It IS in 3rd gear, the engine runs 5000 RPM at 100 km/u.
It reaches 120 km/u @ 6000 RPM, that's not possible in 2nd gear.
The MPS' engine is famous for it accelerations in higher gears because of huge torque. 1st and 2nd gear are limited to 320 Nm, 3rd gear goes all up to 380 Nm, making it incrediably fast.
