  • Learn to winter rize the equipment remove all the gasoline from the tank, remove the spark plug add 30ml of oil, put the plug bak in place only by hand. Remove the magneto, remove any rust, cover with white grease. cover the equipment with a blanket, and nylon give shelter. When you operate the equipment use a new gas, replace the oil after the winter, do not race the engine fivelands1

  • Next time you want to shut the engine turn the valve all to the right, do not use old gas, keep your tank full of gas, cover the equipment or bring the equipment under a roof. edward

  • he means you must prove the start but otherwise it's ok

  • das anlassen musste aber noch nen bissl üben

  • Sweet tractor

  • Great stuff! The tractor's condition is a credit to you.

  • fucking hill billys

  • @alaska737 wtf is ur problem?

  • That's such a cool tractor i love it!!!

  • what the horse power

  • Put a Damn cover over that Chain!

  • if it didnt say bolens in the front, i would have thought it was a deere.

  • is the engine a kohler

  • If you want to make it unstoppable put dual rear tires on. Two extra wheels, spacers, and longer studs and it will pull most anything without digging in like the singles do when loaded. Those wheels are easy to find. Mine has been used to tow much larger equipment over the years with no problems. Still have the original K90 Kohler. I have a sandy lot (like beach sand) and it never gets bogged down.

  • @DrDirtyJr that sounds like a good idea thanks for the tip

  • priceless. i would trade my left pinky finger for it.

  • @colbycous01 haha thank you very much

  • Very cool Bolens tractor. I have a similar Bolens but its the two wheel model. Mine has a very similar front end and fuel tank. What year is yours?

  • Good idea the gas filter , i fit all my gas engines with ,it keeps the carb clear .

  • yep its always a good idea

  • thanks, and it easier to change a filter like that than cleaning a carb : only two screws to unbolt on the gas duct , and these littles filters are not too expensive

  • sure is! if ya want feel free to check out the rest of my channel ive got a few other bolens videos and a lot of other stuff

  • Did ya see the vid on my chain ( the one with the pushmower) it's also an old Bolens mower ,with a Briggs and Stratton four cycles engine.

    Yes i'm gonna do it

    Cheers

  • thanks man!

  • flames out of the egg zaust. im used to that 5 stars

  • lol!!

  • your carb's main jet sounded like it was running a little lean. its the screw on the very top of the carb. try to open it while its running at full speed just a little tiny bit. it should smooth out. that should make it run smoother and start alittle easier. it also could be your idle jet, but since you had it running flat out, id say its your load jet.

i didnt realize those had a cvt type tranny. thats cool. thats what my 210's have between the engine and transaxle. variable speed pulley

  • thanks for the comment i will try that

  • just go easy on the jet you wont need to move it much. just move it ever so slightly until it smooths out.

man you need a flywheel screen. i have one on my k-90. i could take some pic's of it and the clip that holds it if you'd like. im sure you could garage engineer something that looks proper for it. it will keep crap from blocking your cooling fins. and its an invitation for mice when its open like that. good thing the schroud isnt held on by much.

  • ok yeah that would help!

  • to make the screen you will need to get a stiff mesh screen. it will need to be a fairly fine mesh similar to the flywheel screens on old briggs engines. that will be the hardest thing youll need to find. you will need some stiff coat hanger wire to make the clip and some tin snips or wire cutters to cut and shape the screen. you should'nt have too much an issue. when you make the screen it should be a rounded bowl shape so it looks like the original would have. ill send you pics sometime.
