A neutral point of view would still be very fine. Besides, communism could actually be the greatest thing ever introduced to economics; the unfortunate part is the fact it has bad reputation, and one of the reasons for that is propaganda like this documentary. The other main reason is of course the fact too many people think the Soviet Union was a real communist society, which it wasn't.

This history is incomplete, communsim had it's roots in tribalism, where the only help you had where your family, neighbors, and your tribe/clan/town. Division of labor in that state of civiliztion wasn't that high, so the equal or near equal sharing of work and resources was common and needed. These exist in societies today, and it's also why communist countries are relativily poor. When division of labor is higher, there is more inequalty because people have time to make money - capitalism.
