Your eggs are supposed to still be hot. not warm, when you put them in the mold, then they go in the fridge for 5 minutes to cool down. Plus, the size of the eggs need to large not jumbo.

thank you hairband chick, as you see in the video I try to show you how they are still steaming and I mentioned that I didn't have the right sized egg and that's why it was squishing out. The mold that clips can almost fit the eggs that I had but the ones with the double clip were way to big. In addition i mention it's my first use and so I used what I had and they were in an hour because I forgot about them for a while and I wasn't eating them that instant. Thank you

They're easier for some things :) A fork or spoon would have broken up my eggs probably and not fit in the grooves.

i think you should use chicken egg instead of duck egg if u do not want the extra to come out from the mould :)

dendelionnum1, All of the different egg sizes I used were chicken eggs. I would not even know where to purchase a duck egg here in america. They are not found in a "normal" grocery store or even "specialty stores" in most cases. In fact I don't think I've ever in my lifetime seen a "duck egg" at a grocery store here. Yup, we have enjoyed many a tasty heart and star shaped eggs. We have yet to add the food coloring.

Yum. That's really cool. I have the Sanrio egg molds....I am assuming I'm supposed to use a Jumbo or atleast extra large egg. I never thought of dyeing them. How do you dye the eggs? Regular food coloring and water?

ShadowVampira, I use regular food coloring and water. The next batch of eggs I have is Large, Hopefully they'll work in it. I don't know what brand they are i couldn't read it it was all in japanese :(
