I have never written a negative comment on YouTube before, but this is a blatant rip off of the song "Wine Red" by The Hush Sound. It wouldn't be so insulting if you didn't tag this video with "The Hush Sound," so you guys obviously know who they are. Your vocalist is too reminiscent of their vocalist, so if you thought you'd get away with it, think again. No label would ever approve this second rate knock off.

@MewPandaMew No, otherwise I would have listed those bands. The guitar sounds are similar, but that Marshall-esque sound has been standardized/popularized with most modern bands. [I know these guys don't use Marshall half stacks, it looks like they use combo amps, but whatever was used for recording has a very similar tone to a JCM 2000/the JCMs in general.]

I'm claiming that Adora was incredibly influenced by The Hush Sound's melodic part, and with the singers sounding so very similar, it's quite noticeable. You are welcome to disagree, but if I caught it instantly and I'm not a copywriter, then there's obviously something not kosher going on with this song.

I used to see Hush Sound in concert when they were just a small local band. So i've probably been listening to them years before you knew who they were. Again, two completely different bands. A good sound here. The mix on the drums sounds great, although the keyboards should definitely be higher/more promiment. The vocals are strong, remind me a bit of Anthony Green of Circa Survive. Plenty of potential here.
