I dunno if you haven't even been told this, But you remind me a lot of Emma Watson (Hermione Granger from Harry Potter) Somehow you look slightly similar and your voice sounds the same.
You sound like a big Dave T fan..In this video, you're getting all emotional over an actor and TV show. hahaha.. I'm more upset about the Daleks returning so soon. And now in hot IPOD colors! WTF STEVE?!
OMG!!! When I saw David's last episode I cried so hard I couldn't breathe!!!! I was soooooooo upset...... He's my fave doctor of all time and I aleady don't like the new one. David Tennant is the BEST!!!!!!!
I can;t remember if his last words were "i don't want to go" or "i've live too long" but either of those is better than "allons-y" "Allons-y" is far too optimistic for last words.
AGREED. i really dont want him to leave, im gonan cry SO HARD, and the new tardis is gonna be shit, matt smith is gonna be shit, the stryline is gonna be shit now russel t davies is leaving, im gonna stop waching. SERIOUSLY.
As long as Rose doesn't come back with her accumulated deft lip I'll be fine. I miss old Martha and I don't know what I'll do every week when Doctor Who comes on and David isn't there! Ahh!
I wil miss him lots and lots. i remmebr the first epi i ever saw was the idiot's lantern. and loved it, although,it wasnt a brilliant episode. when that man leaves, i will probably wear black for about a week, and or make a shrine. have strange feeling eleven will be a bit dark and gothic, with more black humour. especially if christina decides to re-join. but i love ten!he's so camptastic!!
I literally just got into Doctor Who a couple of days ago. Monday, I think. So I've been watching them non-stop since, and I got through the first series rather quickly, and was quite sad to see Nine go, and he was only there for one season.
I'm having a very hard time imagining no Ten after watching him in more than one series.
LoL as im writing this tears are dribbling onto my keyboard ='( Im not a freako obsessive but it was such a shock...mind you, im having wun of those days where i randomly burst out crying ...for no reason but still!! uh..im going to wallow in grief now. *Exterminates self* Tata
You can never say "Allons-y Alonso" enough! Can I just say I love your YouTube channel? You two are doing a fine job here, hope to see you continue through to many more series.
As for David Tennant leaving... It's sad but inevitabe. I'm curious to see them wrap up (or rather: begin) the River Song storyline.
Here's hoping crazy not-THAT-old Bill Nighy will be taking over! Thanks for the ride David, it has been BRILLIANT!
david tennant is a legend in fact i doubt i will watch series 5. eleventh doctor is going to suck please dont james nesbitt please he is a terrible actor.
I was heartbroken when i found out...10 minutes ago. I thought i was hallucinating when i saw it. When they started up the new series i thought Christopher Eccelston was cool - and when David Tennant came on - i was wary. but he grew o me halfway through his first series. and now i think he is brilliant. He's totally my doctor. and now to lose him - its going to be so sad when he leaves. and ive decided - that if they continue doctor who - and the new doctor isn't good im gonna stop watching it!
MystikRose86, you say that if the Eleventh Doctor isn't good you are going to stop watching Doctor Who. Just make sure you don't make that decision within the first few episodes of Series 5. When Eccleston left (And Eccleston was the man), I thought Tennant was crap, but he's my favourite Doctor now. Just make sure you don't make your decision too early.
As to David leaving, it's a bit sad, yeah. But all good things must come to an end. But let's hold on to the good times we've had.
Well Wolffike i've come to now agree with you - that Eccleston did his version of the doctor then left. Tennant came in and has done his version which has been amazing... I cant wait to see the last 4 eps he is doing. Then its byb bye david and hello new doctor.
Though i must admit - Tennant has had an influence on me. I my new word is... Brilliant :P
I've said the same thing; you are so right. When the writers put a few sub-par episodes in to the mix, David Tennant pulled it together and spun straw into gold with his brilliant acting talent. David Tennant will be remembered as one of the great Doctors, there is no doubt in my mind.
Well, I've been through 4 Doctors, 7-10, and I've decided, David Tennant is my Doctor like his was Peter Davison. He's given us 3 excellent years and maybe its time to move on. I hoped he'd do Series 5 and perhaps leave after that but... Cheers Dave. Doctor Who's more popular than ever! :D
I agree with everything you said! Best of luck to David in all the wonderful things we know he'll go on to do - he's incredibly talented and deserves the chance to take on whatever roles come his way. (And I keep hoping that something will take him here to America - we *need* to be more aware of him over here!)
All the same, I'll miss Ten. He was so much fun, and so darn lovable. I trust that the next Doctor will be awesome, too - it's just a great show - but Ten will still be my Doctor.
hey it sad he the best doctor but you need think win david leaving how many live will the doctor will have will 13 or 12 and with new girl will she leaving too
im going 2 b so sad when he leaves =( i never watched doctor who untill he started and i will probably never watch it again after. well that sounded a bit dramatic. but hasnt he got really good hair!!!!!
just like his predesser Bill, Then along came Jon an awsome doctor he played they role and handed it to Tom who lived the part for 7 years, and everyone shed a tear at his departure as he was everyones doctor of the time, because most people had grown up with him.
I thought Chris was good and i was shocked at his Deparure, But David is awsome i don't want him to go, but his carrer has to progress such as staring in Hamlet. I only hope his successor will be as good, if not the show may be scraped like it was in the 90's but David will always be remembered as the people's doctor! Have a fantastic career mate!
Totally agree. Though when William Hartnell changed into Patrick Troughton people were apprehensive, shocked and disgusted at first, but he turned out to be an excellent doctor
Oh my god, Rosianna, braces?! You're hitting us with two major stories at the same time! God, I'm going to miss David Tennant, and I do hope that his last line is "Alons-y, Alonso."
I was in the audience at the national television awards when he announced this and the whole crowd was like noo! it's such a shame and to make it worse he didn't even show up :(
Shocked that he's going but if that's what he thinks is best then i'm happy for him, he's been amazing as the doctor though and its going to take someone who extremely tallented to be as well liked as he was and still is as the doctor
My friend and I got in from a meal last night and swtiched on the NTA, and the first award we saw, was David Tennants. And (we are so geeky) when he announcehd he was leaving we both screamed ''Nooooo'' at the television!
We both agree with Rosianna, he was our Doctor too, not our first but the one we loved the most!
I'm not sure if it would be possible but some newspapers were sayin that john simm could be the 11th. But how could that work if he was the master?
I had heard a few months ago that he only had a contract till 2010 so I sort of resigned myself to the fact that he probably wasnt going to renew it.....:(
He was My Doctor too, Im such a Doctor no.10/Rose shipper!!!
I wish he didn't have to leave, i was shocked to read about it, but he was the best doctor and i'm so glad he was in dr who. at least its not for another year. but can't wait till xmas :D
Yeah there was a pang of 'Ah no' cos look what the era of Tenth Doctor has brought us, not only the main show but Torchwood and Sarah Jane, wonder what will happen to them in 2010. As for the parent show, I have every faith that Moff can write great Who stories regardless of who has the Tardis keys you only have to contrast The Empty Child/DD and Silence in the Library/FotD to see that. heck he can write great stories without even the Doctor (Blink)
I guess I'm an old fan (gosh! I'm only 30!) since my first Doctor was Tom Baker, thanks to all the PBS reruns when I was a kid. I've seen a lot of changes in DW and I agree with David Tennant that it's exciting when the Doctor changes--you never know what you will get. I have loved all the Doctors in their own quirky way and I'm excited to see what the new one will be like.
Aaah I love Tom Baker! And yes, it is exciting when he changes; last night I was all down in the mouth about it but today I can't stop speculating on the personality of the new Doctor!
OOOOH NO! =( I swear a bit of me died when I heard this news but after watching the video with David talking, I think I'm accepting his decision. David was also my first Doctor, I'm going to miss him so much; he portrayed the Doctor so fantastically. I wonder if this will affect the show's rating in 2010.
I don't think it will - there will be people who stop watching but there will be kids for whom the 11th Doctor is their first Doctor and who they fall in love with and want to be etc. Plus the companion might be brilliant.
Yeah, I agree, I think the ratings will go up for the first episode.
It's just that I was reading a magazine and they said for the first time, Doctor Who had more than 9 million viewers for one of the recent episodes (sorry, I can't remember which episode it was). Which is the the most viewers they've ever had in the history of the show. I think David did a great job in bringing the show back and his acting brilliance is one of the main reasons why Nu-Who is a success.
My initial (and very tired) reaction is shock, denial, anger and now depression. Sounds like the stages of accepting death. *cries*
But I will miss David very, very much. I loved Nine as well but Ten made me really fall in love with the Doctor.
But I am extremely curious and worried about who will be playing Eleven.. the actor has to live up to these amazing actors before him yet add his own distinction. It'll be hard.
"I am so sad that David's leaving, but we all knew this day was coming. Now he can get away from the Doctor persona and do more projects." One side of me says this, but the other side says, "Why?! He can't leave! He can be the Doctor forever!"
My 1st official Doctor was Eccleston, but David was in the first episode I ever watched. It was the Satan Pit and it was the bit when he was talking to the Devil. I was immediately hooked. He will be missed as the Doctor. My favourite Doctor.
i knoow, my very first episode of drwho was DT's very first episode on screen, the christmas special. and from there ive watched every episode since and went back to the 05 series. siigh, thats so sad.
but im not that glad that he can do other roles, cuz in aust, i will never see him in those plays or shows. and out of all the roles he has played, i still think he plays the doctor better :(
Im so upset about him leaving. He is so amazing as the doctor and I thought it would be a while before he left! I love doctor who but I think its going to be hard, for me at least, to accept a new doctor. To me, david tennant was the doctor.
But I agree that the positive of this is david having more time to do other roles.
Yikeees... *chin wibble* Too sad. Have you seen his speech yet? All the fangirls screamed and groaned when he announced the news - I don't blame them!
I hope we get an unknown actor to play the Doctor next time... that sounds weird but I want to grow to love him like I did David! Although that seems hard right now. =/
David Tennant was the best doctor ever! he just bought humour and enthusiasm to every performance. Doctor Who was also what I used to look forward to every weekend, I first started to watch just as Christopher Eccleston left and David started, But also it's quite exciting to see who will be the next doctor?
I can understand your emotions, but if you fast forward through the video, your hair seems to react to your emotions throughout. By 3:13...well, use the cool new YouTube feature to find out for yourself by clicking this: 3:13 !
Okay, I burst into tears when I found out about this. Sad, I know. But I love the Tenth doc, I mean lets face it, Eccleston wasn't the best doc, and then WHAM Tennant, THE doctor of The century. The next lucky saps got one hell of a pair of shoes to fill if I'm rather honest.
In 2010 all of us fangirls are gonna just be like ): He's gone... he's never coming back.
Okay sure in '09's last spesh we'll be all dying inside that hes left. But you know It won't hit home until we see the 11th doctor
I was in shock when I first heard about it from Charlieissocoollike's tweet. Now though, I'm crying. Tennant was my first Doctor AND my Doctor! I honestly doubt that I could possibly like anyone else they put in the role.
Okay, okay, I'm fine. He's going on to great things, right? And the next Doctor will surely be wonderful!
I agree with you, even though the 9th Doctor was my first, the 10th is... mine. I've always been fond of the 9th and defended him against haters, but somewhere along the line the 10th really definitely took over that special place in my heart reserved for My Doctor. I sound like an idiot, so I'm going to stop now. :P
I watched the interview and I think I am goign to cry! I absolutely LOVE the 10th Doctor , and it won't be the same without him. It will be a hard act to follow for the next Doctor!
I AM crying! I'm going to miss Ten so much. I didn't hate Russel either. This is very much an end of an era (Oh god, its so weird to use that phrase in a non-HP way).
On the plus side, very happy to see a new TARDIStacular video. Christmas approacheth far too slowly.
Allons-y Allonso!
Oh my god, will you guys have to find a new catchphrase after 10 leaves? Its uprooting everything!
I really really loved David Tennant as the tenth Doctor, it is quite sad, especially since Stephen Moffat is taking over as head writer, it would have been AMAZING. But I would like to see him do other things, and I read the interview he did with the BBC and I can understand why.
Yeah, Moffat should really mix things up and it will be good, I think, to have him start with a totally new Doctor. Plus I can totally understand why DT is moving on.
While I agree that it's be a big shame for him to leave again I am interested in knowing who the next Doctor will be. Still David Tennant is definatly my favourate Doctor and its sad to know he'll be leaving.
I dunno if you haven't even been told this, But you remind me a lot of Emma Watson (Hermione Granger from Harry Potter) Somehow you look slightly similar and your voice sounds the same.

missxrojas 3 years ago
wouldn't it be cool if Tom Baker got cast as Xeno Lovegood? He'd be perfect for it I think.
And making your video a responce to an official bbc video, sly move Rosi, well done.
flaziola 3 years ago
OOOOH NO! =( I swear a bit of me died when I heard this news but after watching the video with David talking, I think I'm accepting his decision. David was also my first Doctor, I'm going to miss him so much; he portrayed the Doctor so fantastically. I wonder if this will affect the show's rating in 2010.
0745am 3 years ago
I don't think it will - there will be people who stop watching but there will be kids for whom the 11th Doctor is their first Doctor and who they fall in love with and want to be etc. Plus the companion might be brilliant.
missxrojas 3 years ago
Maybe the rating will go up?
Full of people seeing who the new Doctor is/what they're like/if they can match Tennant.
Yeah - I think it'll go up for the first episode at least.
Lyddiiii 3 years ago
Yeah, I agree, I think the ratings will go up for the first episode.
It's just that I was reading a magazine and they said for the first time, Doctor Who had more than 9 million viewers for one of the recent episodes (sorry, I can't remember which episode it was). Which is the the most viewers they've ever had in the history of the show. I think David did a great job in bringing the show back and his acting brilliance is one of the main reasons why Nu-Who is a success.

:( so sad to see him go
unasman 3 years ago
My initial (and very tired) reaction is shock, denial, anger and now depression. Sounds like the stages of accepting death. *cries*
But I will miss David very, very much. I loved Nine as well but Ten made me really fall in love with the Doctor.
But I am extremely curious and worried about who will be playing Eleven.. the actor has to live up to these amazing actors before him yet add his own distinction. It'll be hard.
Keaxx 3 years ago
Seriously, the phases of grief!
I wonder too, I hope it's someone radically different but I don't know in what way.
missxrojas 3 years ago
Rosi,
You should ask Hank which Dr. was his favorite. He's got old 'collectible' Dr Who comics... quite the Dr, fan in his time ;-)

Oh really?! I never knew! I'll be sure to ask him!
missxrojas 3 years ago
"I am so sad that David's leaving, but we all knew this day was coming. Now he can get away from the Doctor persona and do more projects." One side of me says this, but the other side says, "Why?! He can't leave! He can be the Doctor forever!"
My 1st official Doctor was Eccleston, but David was in the first episode I ever watched. It was the Satan Pit and it was the bit when he was talking to the Devil. I was immediately hooked. He will be missed as the Doctor. My favourite Doctor.
km9508 3 years ago
i knoow, my very first episode of drwho was DT's very first episode on screen, the christmas special. and from there ive watched every episode since and went back to the 05 series. siigh, thats so sad.
but im not that glad that he can do other roles, cuz in aust, i will never see him in those plays or shows. and out of all the roles he has played, i still think he plays the doctor better :(
nobpob 3 years ago
That's sad...
but I think he's right
I support his decision
and a new doctor... it can be great!
vanessanroll 3 years ago
Im so upset about him leaving. He is so amazing as the doctor and I thought it would be a while before he left! I love doctor who but I think its going to be hard, for me at least, to accept a new doctor. To me, david tennant was the doctor.
But I agree that the positive of this is david having more time to do other roles.

i hope at least one of the specials involves River Song, because they can't just leave that story as it is.

I am so sad... the 10th doctor is my favorite. I have watched Doctor Who since I was really little. =/
Sarahbear9789 3 years ago
I'm so mad and upset that he's leaving!
He was my first doctor and he's my doctor which makes it a million times worse!
I think the show is going downhill and that they won't be able to make it as good as it is when David's in it.
: (

I don't think so, I think it will keep on going strong as it has for years.

Oh well.
Things change... Ya know? He was a good Doctor... but now we must move on... Indeed.

Oooh I have a question... did you enter the competition in DWM to win a trip to the set and meet David?
whoknows2007 3 years ago
Nope, I didn't!
missxrojas 3 years ago
Oh right! Would've thought that would've been your kind of thing, cos you had to write about what Doctor Who means to you. XD
whoknows2007 3 years ago
whoknows2007 3 years ago
Yeah, I sort of wish they were a little quieter though!
And yes, I don't like the James Nesbitt rumours or anything - as awesome as he is, an unknown would be great.
missxrojas 3 years ago
I know, the whole 'WE LOVE YOU DAVID' about 20x was a bit much...
Ugh nah I don't think I'd like James Nesbitt as a Doctor! Maybe we bring back Chris Eccleston, yes? =P
whoknows2007 3 years ago
Either that or
"On y va"
One of his awesome catchphrases anyway.
There are thousands of heartbroken fangirls/boys accross the world tonight.
We'll miss you 10.
Our Doctor.

Oh Rosiana! Thank you for always summing exactly how I'm feeling about all things Doctor Who related so much more eloquently than I could manage.
bookishbeth 3 years ago
You look like your about to cry in the video.
I know how you feel.
And I think those should be his last words. Who knows, his companion at the time could be called Alonso.
teamtennantgirl1987 3 years ago
I just. wow. I am going to miss him so so so much.
This is way too emotional.
I can't even form a coherent comment.
SamLovesHP 3 years ago
I don't know how I feel yet. I'll miss David Tennant for sure, but I think a new Doctor might be a good thing.
arthurweasley 3 years ago
Yeah, I think it will be great, but just experiencing the immediate sadness!
missxrojas 3 years ago
Oh no! I'm really sad now. =(
David Tennant was the greatest Doctor.
VivaLaLaurennn 3 years ago
=/=/=/ I was sort of expecting this, but it's still sad.
I'm going to miss Ten a ton. It won't be the same show without him.
At the same time though, it will still be Dr Who, it will still (hopefully) be brilliant, and I'm excited to see who plays Eleven.
gah, that's so weird to think about Eleven as not being the distant future anymore...
thephantommilk 3 years ago
Definitely, it's weird to think that we could find out any day now who it is!

Sadness... it would have been amazing for him to be the Doctor when Moffat is the head writer. Alas, it was fun while it lasted.

Yeah, I've been meaning to make a video for aggges but just haven't gotten around to it.
missxrojas 3 years ago
David Tennant was the best doctor ever! he just bought humour and enthusiasm to every performance. Doctor Who was also what I used to look forward to every weekend, I first started to watch just as Christopher Eccleston left and David started, But also it's quite exciting to see who will be the next doctor?
Hunnypot01 3 years ago
Definitely exciting, just came as a bit of a shock because I expected him to do one last full season and then quit!
missxrojas 3 years ago
I can understand your emotions, but if you fast forward through the video, your hair seems to react to your emotions throughout. By 3:13...well, use the cool new YouTube feature to find out for yourself by clicking this: 3:13 !

Okay that is an awesome feature.
& yes, I'm a secret sibling thus my hair reflects my emotions.
missxrojas 3 years ago
Okay, I burst into tears when I found out about this. Sad, I know. But I love the Tenth doc, I mean lets face it, Eccleston wasn't the best doc, and then WHAM Tennant, THE doctor of The century. The next lucky saps got one hell of a pair of shoes to fill if I'm rather honest.
In 2010 all of us fangirls are gonna just be like ): He's gone... he's never coming back.
Okay sure in '09's last spesh we'll be all dying inside that hes left. But you know It won't hit home until we see the 11th doctor
GenerallyGemma 3 years ago
I was in shock when I first heard about it from Charlieissocoollike's tweet. Now though, I'm crying. Tennant was my first Doctor AND my Doctor! I honestly doubt that I could possibly like anyone else they put in the role.

Aaah, you just ruined my day! :(
Okay, okay, I'm fine.
penrynsdreams 3 years ago
I'm the same as you...Christopher was my first Doctor but David was MY Doctor.
But it sort of makes sense, with Russell T Davies and Julie Gardner leaving as well.
Truly the end of an era.
He will be very greatly missed, and I can guarantee many, many tears on my part...
proudveggie 3 years ago
I find it amusing that you are all devestated through most of the video then perk up at the end (at his DYING last words).
That's what Doctor Who is all about, upset that the Doctor will die then be all excited for the next.
CrayfordDresden 3 years ago
Exactly! I mourn for his departure now, and then I freak out with excitement!

It is weird but it is the end of an era!
Too many eras are ending for my liking!
missxrojas 3 years ago
I really really loved David Tennant as the tenth Doctor, it is quite sad, especially since Stephen Moffat is taking over as head writer, it would have been AMAZING. But I would like to see him do other things, and I read the interview he did with the BBC and I can understand why.
lrocke08 3 years ago
Yeah, Moffat should really mix things up and it will be good, I think, to have him start with a totally new Doctor. Plus I can totally understand why DT is moving on.
missxrojas 3 years ago
Cant wait for the next Doctor.
This is what Doctor Who is about! CHANGE!
drantb 3 years ago
While I agree that it's be a big shame for him to leave again I am interested in knowing who the next Doctor will be. Still David Tennant is definatly my favourate Doctor and its sad to know he'll be leaving.
