my father and i were discussing if he has ever seen Gonna Raise Hell live int the 12 concerts he has attended.......as soon as i left to go to basketball practice it comes on the raidio
Saw them on Wednesday night at the o2 arena supporting Deep Purple, on the third row 25 metres from the centre of the front of the stage. It doesn't get better than that.
@Deviantlol this is my favorite song that is not on the first album. I agree with you to a point. This is a very difficult song to recreate live, since the studio tricks, especially the strings, help to give the song it's greatness. I know that live, it would be impossible to match that so I am happy that a live version even exists.
@Deviantlol- Hahaha are you kidding? I'm sure they had bad performances, but they're known for being GREAT live! Look up "I want you to want me live at budokan"
Pittsburgh should play Gonna Raise Hell By Cheap Trick at Hines Field before all of their Football games...This Jam would really get the Nation all jacked up and ready to kill.
As great as ever and still pumping out great new music! Bun E looks like he should be grandpa sitting in his lawn chair reading the paper with a glass of iced tea! Love it!
@Bill1122 No, I did not. Interesting. I know they are big fans of The Beatles, though. Robin and Rick played on Lennon's last album, but it didn't make it onto record.
I was lucky enough to be at this concert, in the VIP area directly in front of the special area for the band's families. They had camera crews everytwhere, including boom cranes and all that. We expected a world-class video production a-la Frampton Detroit. Silver the DVD was a little disappointing, but the concert was the most memorable show I have every seen.
sweet, I have the cd(s) and dvd, the first concert my kids got to go to was CT in 05, we had front row seats in front of rick, we have like 9 or 10 picks
this was some of the best music back in the day! Hands down!

The energy and Bun E's drum solo is better...but Petersson had to go and blow his solo during the break of the "...Hangovers" version.
