@OsCassador might be built on the Same Platform (aside from abit larger dimensions) but you can't even tell from the Exterior or the high levels of refined luxurious materials on the inside.

kinda slow i drove one of these b4. the guages are cool how it shines down and when the car is off its blank that was about the only thing that impressed me about it and its a pain to work on the motor bcause its crammed and has stupid plastic crap over the motor. id never own 1
Hey, thanks for the reply! I now it is slow, but for a daily-driver here, in Northen Europe, it is quicker than 95% of the cars. And fuel economy is also good- 19 mpg for city driving.
nice continental ive never seen the needle actually touch 6k rpms i tried to revup a 96 continental while it was in in park but it limits to about 4k tho but al i could hit was about 5500rpms in overdrive

You can't believe it. Once I got new belt and tensioner my '98 Conti can spin@50 MPH when accelerating. This is the speed where takes place the gear change 1st-2nd.

Not bad at all! Very nice. I get about 7 seconds at stock. I'm thinking about getting a performance chip to get another second quicker.

Nope. No blower whine. At first U can hear tires slipping and later on it is just normal V8 sound for that engine.

@ylovoitka there is a belt that slips somewhere on these cars when you go up a gear from first, @ full throttle, I have one too ;)

Whoa...those Continentals really get up...2 of my buddies have one...a 96 and my other buddy has a 97
only wish they were RWD...could probably do some sweet peelouts heh :)
