  • boring

  • Resham Singh Dhillon was the lyricist of this song, the 'trucker'.

  • IM RELATED TO KUMAR HEEERAAA (L)

much love to heera, love amrita :D

  • OMG i got a vid from when i was like 4 years old dancing to this when it was bumpin on the tv

  • CLASSIC THE NEW STUFF CANNOT TOUCH THIS GENERATION OF PUNJABI TRUE ICONS

  • Totally awesome. Nothing like melodious pure punjabi music. no shitty rap, hip-hop like nowadays. I love music from these times when Achanak, Heera, Alaap, Apna Sangeet, Anakhi etc groups were making it big in UK.

  • a band that shot themselves in thee foot@there loyal followers nice one guys now go get ustaad deepak khazanchy there may be sum hope left

  • I remember seeing this video and being totally dissapointed

what the hell is this folk clothing

wats up with the cheapo canadian super clear home wedding camera

  • @punjabinkarperated2 um this was shot in england bro not canada

  • @punjabinkarperated2 you sound like your from UK.. typical.. dont know anything about true punjabi music.. probably can barely speak the language.

  • @kabaddifan89 im a bhangrahead you folkie

Punjabi music (all that folk shit) is tatti without bhangra music created by bands in the 80s

  • @punjabinkarperated2 Your both dickheads for arguing over it.. Folk and Bhangra.. different styles.. like comparing Qwaali with Live Bhangra.. you just can't.. Folk was more about the singer and meanings.. Bhangra is about everything, the dholak, the tabla, the vaja, the vocals, the strings.. the atmosphere.. Now chup karoo

  • @kabaddifan89 as far as my punjabi is concerned puttar

I can read and write punjabi which is more than you can say about your chamkeelas and shamsher sandhu folkies

  • people dont realise that the gentleman on the keyboard was the mastermind behind heera. He wrote many of the songs, produced the music but didnt get much credit. Later became solo as raga kaka winston.

  • old is gold top legends of all time

  • the 80s were great the whites had puck blacks had reggae punjabis hand bhangra

  • desibhangraholic - well said man - us born in balart had to listen to punk, reggae, ska & these boys gave us our own recognition & links with our beloved PUNJAB

  • they were great with deepak khazanchy afta dat they became funjaaby wedding singers, real let downs wid silly albums after kohinoor 1991 appaling guys thanks

  • I saw these guys performing at a Wedding last Weekend 29th Nov 2009 in Birmingham at Bingley Hall - and they were absolutely FANTASTIC!!! They are real class and true Gents.

  • 'Diamond' was an awesome album......pure pioneers of UK Bhangra music!!!!!

  • they look like fresh chickens lol

  • heera had it al they screwed up bigtime wat tragedy, there nuffin widout legend deepak khazanchi go bring him bdack only he can help heera

  • Golden Era of Bhangra. Its wicked =D

  • where have these bands gone they should bring out new songs and carry on performing like Gurdas maan

  • Wow.........I used to have hair like that, back in the '80s.

  • @Jaibajrang29

    I like this style

  • legends! Reminds me of an all nighter called bhangra beat at the town n country club where over 10 groups came Alaap, apna sangeet, heera, achanak, malkit, premi etc it waz mental. They jus dont do em like that any more.

  • LEGENDARY TRACK YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhh. This is when shit was REAL people. Never forget this era!!!!!

  • thats my dad lmao

  • Bitches?

Come on fellas, would you like your daughter referred to in such a way? Golden years of Bhangra yep in some ways but having sais that the Panjabi vocalists showed how it should be song and some of the UK music producers even got within spitting distance of showcasing their talent.

  • Oh my god its very young time song I was use to listen when I was just few year, Thanks buddy keep it up. Jatt

  • this was one song that kept playing throughout my parents wedding! im gona say its 1985-ish. the video effects seem to match that time too! its a classic

  • This or sadke java, I'd choose to listen to this any day

  • kumar niked one my songs few years back and I was only 17 years old and left him alone out of respect but now these old boys are back with their simply bhangra

  • My boy Jaspal knows these people

  • I fink H got is easy tho, i mean his dad worked hard and shit den suddenly outa nowhere, H comnes and becomes an ova night star, coz of his dad and maybe b'coz of his lux, dow geh me rong his a gud songer, buh his getin more fame than he deserves 4rm all dah girls, all coz of his lux, not his muzic, HE'D RATHER BE A MODEL :|

  • good point hahaha model he shuld bitches love his looks...his singing is medoicore compared to his dad..

  • dont think he's be a good model either though considering his height and build...him and imran khan get bitches attention because they are probably the only normal looking lads in bhangra...i mean you seen some of the cats and the way they dress, do their hair etc. lol

  • @JaydedSoulja Yeah his dad is a famous singer and it easy for him to become a singer. However thats not how he became famous at all. It was nothing to do with his dad. H loved singing and always was singing but he'd never taken it seriously until rishi rich heard him sing. Rishi rich was the reason why H became famous.

Don't get me wrong, H is nowhere as good as his dad and you are right about him getting more fame than he deserves from girls but he isn't famous due to his dad being famous xxx

  • You guys are so right!!!

Heera, Alaap, Premi, Apna Sangeet, Azaad, Chiraag Pechaan, Golden Star, DCS, Red Rose, Bhujangey...long live the 80's, when bhangra was good and real, let's bring it back!!!

  • So true.

  • it was the golden age, from the 1980s til 1995

  • yes it was...also called the punkra age...wiped out in 1994 by the djs who brought in the boring folkhop age.

    2009...end of the folkhop age!!!!!!

  • sounds like you all enjoy punkra...and are waiting for its triumphant return following the ouster of foreign folk hop from these here lands

in the meantime you can check out...Heera - assault charge boliyan video on my page

    thanks

  • HEERA = BHANGRA AT ITS BEST!!!

  • Comment removed

  • HEERRRAAAAA are what BHANGRA is all about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRING BACK THESE DAYS!!!

  • Those few of us that remain love these songs, however the younger generation has forgotten that these songs have significant meaning to us Punjabis living in England, in that time there was onli the Bollywood stuff such as lata mangeshkar, and all that i can't remember the rest and then the 1980's came and Bhangra travelled in with it bringing us Kalapreet, Heera, Apna Sangeet, Premi, Alaap etc etc

  • You know what, you are so right. Back then it was enough to say "Channel 4 are going to air a Bhangra song on Saturday for 3 minutes", and that would send thrills across the whole of the UK for British Asians. The youngsters today have no clue how the first generation coped and what we went through. I think thats why we appreciate this British life a lot more than they do.

  • Thank you for your kind words, it's just that people like H-Dhami are as insignificant as the colour of the tissue i used 2 blow my nose, however these tunes have significance as they were trailblazers for Us Punjabis like you rightfully said across the nation i'm not here hating on anything i'm just telling it how it is and i think slowly our music is being belittled by women in Skimpy-Clad clothing as opposed 2 wearing sarees n doing gidha our Bhangra is a music of Profound Rigteousness

  • H-dhami is a lulleee

  • brilliant comment, acts like H etc. are washed out...dilluting the scene...and it all sounds the same...im not saying it sounds shit, but its not as good as the old stuff and if you hear the beats they're too similiar...

  • hey wasnt this shot in TOronto in the 1980's.

  • Actulally Kevin, 1992. This was done in my family's studio. Sami Dhillion was a client of mine & remains a close friend to this day

  • Lol at Sexy's comment...they are the best moments of an awesome video...!

  • only silly 14 year old girls refer to the great Palvinder Dhami as H-Dhamis' dad. H is good, but nowhere near as iconic as his Dad, this was and still is groundbreaking stuff for British Asians!

  • well said bro.. i much prefer listernin to these classics then aaj kal di baquass. i got a roadshow.. and old skool always pioneer

  • 1:27 and 3:00 the classic bits of this video!!!! DHAMI DOIN THE - "Heeeehhhhnnnneeee"

Thanks for putting these up man... well done..

  • your right! keep music live. at least there r a few bands in the industry keepin it live..malkit singh, jassi sidhu, dcs, sukshinder shinda, jazzy b,silinder pardesi and a few others. musicians union need 2 crack down on producers and do em 4 not gettin permission usin other peoples samples.. the person i feel sorry the most is askang..he's Giddiah di rani sample still gets used 2 this day.. i wonder if he gets royalties??? not! damn shame!

  • now this is music, not the shit that plays these days
