@SPS148669 Chicken Scratch is a blend of Mexican and Native American music. It no way resembles Ukranian Zabava style music. Although is sounds familiar, it is a totally different style. But damn.....it sounds good.
That guy in blue rules. My favorite part of dances is seeing that little old couple that walks really slowly out to the dance floor and once the song starts, they GO. Not a physical ailment in the world, just dance. It cracks me up and makes me happy every time I see it.
The guy is like "I don't need a lady". Haha get em pops.
Chicken Scratch music and mariachi music from mexico are almost the same. I think the only difference is that in mexico there are people singing with it.
I'm from Gila River [Akimil O'Odham] which is like maybe 30 mins-an hour from T.O.
This is what I listened to alot growing up. Always a good feeling.
kinda resembles Ukrainian Zabava style music. Not bad for Native American group emulating it.

My uncle Richard played sax for the band. One of the legendary bands that derived from the Joaquin Bros. Much respect!
