  • Gotta hand it to you 2nd Amendant loving Californians. I lived there before the assault weapons registration. And I'll never move back.

  • I'm getting a Stag AR 15 hopefully the 15th. But I live in Maine.

  • cALIFORNIA SUCKS FOR GUNS YOU CANT OWN SHIT THATS WHY I LIVE IN GEORGIA

  • Im in Texas I can buy a 150 round drum for My AR-15

  • 1200 with eotech?

  • Which AR-15 lower receivers are legal in CA and from which companies? I want to build my own AR-15. Can you give me a list of those companies name? Thank.

  • @abbeyglencircle Check out the flow charts pn calguns dot net.

  • hey bro, i just bought a model 1. can't pick it up until friday (cool down law). but i was wondering if it has sling mounts already. i forgot if it did or not.

PS get out the commi state. RI has an unlimited cap law.

  • Cali sucks, you got to change that gay ass fag law.

  • What a stupid state? I cannot understand why anyone would want to live there?

  • Are all rifles required by law in Cali to have detachable magazines?

  • @MBryantFFNY No. There are no set requirements on rifles in general. There are what we call "RAW" or Registered Assault Weapons. These guns (registration stopped quite a while ago) are registered with the state, and can have "Evil" features including detachable magazines in conjunction with pistol grips, flash hiders, collapsible stock, and other small things not necessary to mention. They can also take "High capacity" magazines (over 10 rounds) while the "Off List Lowers" like mine can't

  • @whoscaleb Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.

  • Only difference in any AR is if it is gas driven bolt or a piston bolt. My MOS in the Marines was 0369 so I build these for my friends all the time, less than half price at any store. There is one AR out there that you should buy very quickly if you run across it. It is the Colt model SP1 and collector's are buying them up as fast as they are put out to sale. Its a olive green color and the gun will be a used one because SP1's were made in the 60's and 70's before all the gun bans were put in.

  • how do you load the mag?

  • @mrdeadeye19 Same way as any other AR/STANAG magazine.

  • how much was the rifle?

  • that piece of crap is not an ar15. its a commi15.

  • @joshkkv I was leaning towards GAYR-15, but I guess that works too.

  • @joshkkv

the only differences are 10 rd magazines and a bullet button right? is there anything else?

  • OP, its either a two piece or a free float, can't be both am i wrong?

  • @statusku0 No, they have two-piece free floats. In fact the one in the video is a 2-piece free float. Most clamp-on style FF rails are two pieces.

  • I am looking for the cap that holds on the forearms. It is the ring near the front sight. What is the name if that and where can I find it

  • @ORANGEALWAYS My AR never had that piece, but its called the handguard cap.

  • Cali sucks shit i use to live there thank GOD im no longer there. I can own a real AR15

  • thank god i'm a Texan, i have a whole safe full of ARs and AKs.

  • Do not buy ar 15 from Stag Arms. It jams every 15 rounds.!

  • Cali sucks, thankfully I don't live there! I purchased my first AR-15 a few weeks ago. I haven't fired it yet and it's the Stag Arms model 2. My next purchase for this rifle is a railed gas block with a collapsible front sight. Can't wait until I can afford that -$135+shipping

  • The Republic of Southern California!

  • @whoscaleb I'm from the Costa Mesa/Santa Ana area, where in the area did you take your rifle to shoot?

  • @BNK2006 I'm a bit further north in the LA area. I generally go to Burro Canyon Shooting Park in the Azusa mountains. I sold my AR about 6 months ago so I haven't been up there since. It's all been Indoor ranges and matches for me.

  • california sucks:)

  • @MaNGLeDSHaDoW Dude tell me about it, I live in California and i do believe that there should be reason for having any gun. I would like to have a 50 cal berret rifle just because it is a right under 2nd amendment, trust me liberals are dictators. wolf hiding under sheeps clothing. Hitler based people, don't like. If they call to take my guns away i will bury them where they can't find them and take a felony. it's bullshit, just be glad NRA protects your gun rights.

  • @MaNGLeDSHaDoW another thing without NRA California would have some gun restriction bullshit.

  • No Racial BUT:

    Tactical Asians

  • @1962SatanTookOver2 shut up

  • I am in California too. Who did you use for your FFL?

  • @LeperKing I got my stripped lower from J&J Armory in Costa Mesa.

  • If you have a preban AR15 do you still have to have bullet button?

  • @semiautoriflelover Registered Assault Weapons (RAW) In the state of California do not need to have a bullet button. However, even if you have a "pre-ban" receiver, there's no guarantee that it is registered. Additionally, unless it is registered under your name, I would not mess around with it unless the owner is present. Unfortunately registration is closed for most people. Some LEO can still get their ARs and other semi-auto rifles registered as assault weapons.

  • I wanted to ask what reange u go to...Have u been to Angeles range or Azusa canyon range??? Which is best for rifle shooting???

  • I've never gone to Angeles, I've been to Burro plenty of times. For rifle shooting, Angeles is probably the better choice since they have a 700yd range. Burro only goes out to 100. However, burro does offer private ranges anywhere from ~45-100yds that you can rent for the day.

  • Best Choice: 7.62x51 NATO.1 round = 1 kill. Recommending DS Arms FAL clones. DS Arms is the best FAL manufacturer, better than Imbel of Brazil. The receiver have been rated for 80,000 rounds firing through it. Can't get better than that.

7.62x51mm NATO is nearly double the bullet weight of the 5.56x45mm round.

Chinese brothers and sisters, arm ourselves. Be ready to shoot back. The time for oppression is over.

    This century belongs to us.

  • @1962SatanTookOver2 ok there chairman mao with your comical call for arms ha ha ha!!!! grow a pair of balls and learn how to fight with your hands!!!!

  • Thanks mate. i want to protect my home from invaders, so i guess i will need a nato round.

  • What kind of grip was that? Couldn't understand.

  • It's a Magpul MIAD (MIssion ADaptable grip)

  • We need more Chinese young men like you to be armed in Pennsylvania where our brethrens are being brutalized by the Negros at a high school where they were sought out, and severely beaten. 26 Chinese kids to be exact. This happened recently.

  • I read about that a few weeks ago, pretty sad story. Pretty pathetic how low people stoop to feel above others. I bet it was an outrageous ratio of 5:1 too.

  • You should learn to fight back then.

  • You try taking on multiple black guys on your own. lol

  • @1962SatanTookOver2 Dude, in California you dont need to worry about Chinese or Asian in general. I am not asian, but have Asian friends and they are pretty much brought up with firearms. Like the majority of people they are law abiding citizens, just happen to own more cool guns than other people.

  • california suck.....laws imposed against good people ....

  • which is better?

    AR-15

    SR-556

    SR-22LR

    MP15-22

    CDD-15

    P-416 PDW

  • @Rico8458 we need ALOT more info to tell you which one is "better". Like... do you want a high power rifle or a 22LR (plinker or hunting/defending gun)? do you want piston or gas operated(piston is easier to clean but also comes at a cost)? What will you be using the gun for(hunting, tactical, plinking)? How much money do you want to spend? Those are all great guns, but "AR-15" is very broad. there are lots of companies that make AR15's. some good, some not so good.

  • good video bro, i have the same rifle almost same configuration. i bought mine from coldwar shooters in highland california. and i love the posts from the other idiots pretending to be gun law experts, long live the bullet button

  • I dont get payed enough to own as many guns as you :( I live in FL but have a Moss 500 and am getting a Bushmaster m4 . I am aware that I can have multiple configurations with the Bushmaster but with the Colt model I am not sure ..but I have a question for you , which is better the carbine or standard m4?

  • thats so lame! stupid california, and its stupid rules

  • haha....have no idea.lol but 10 rounds from a rifle like that....may be all you need, depends on how good you are with it.

but generally speaking....it's a fucken bitch out here.lol

  • "This" lol its called a pistol grip and your voice is off dude. But nice gun

  • open magwell = AW

  • You = Wrong

Open mag well doesn't mean anything.

The fact still stands, the rifle is not capable of accepting a detachable magazine.

Which according to the law, not some Youtube user, is legal.

  • Tjbender1987 is right. It's stupid as hell, but as soon as you remove the 10 round mag that turns into a felony you're holding there, pal. FYI; I have the mirror image of that rifle. A Stag 2TL which I picked up yesterday with the same silly bullet button setup on it. From the same folks you got yours from too. Out of curiosity, where in CA are you? For the commie comment down there, yeah, didn't you know, its now the "Democratic people's Republic of California".

  • Believe me, people have beaten this topic to death. It is completely fine. The rifle does not have the capability to accept a detachable magazine.

From PC 12276.1, an AW is also a "A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine ..."

From CCR 11 5469, a "'detachable magazine' means any ammunition feeding device that can be removed readily from the firearm with neither disassembly of the firearm action nor use of a tool being required."

  • In order for me to remove the magazine, I must use a tool.

Otherwise, you can tell the thousands of other legal gun owners that the bullet button they are using is causing them to perform an illegal action.

  • COMMUNIST CALIFORNIA SUCKSSSSSS

  • @bracsim we are democratic and california don't suck

  • u r not democratic, cali is or should be called the peoples republic of californistanzzzz

  • I like the AR 15. It looks nice. I also like the AK too.

  • Can please you post the product names of all the parts you bought? That would be very helpful.

  • I am also a Calgunner like you, and I was wondering if a Colt upper with be able to be used with a Stag Arms lower. Also, are RRA lowers legal for use in Cali?

LOL, when you said "I was shooting Wolf that day" I actually thought you went hunting for wolves where you "shot over 450 rounds". I thought that must've been a sad attempt at wolf-hunting until 5 seconds later I realized you meant Wolf ammo. :P

  • IIRC, the ban list restricts the lower receiver. Most uppers aren't even marked by the manufacturer, and the upper isn't even considered a firearm in itself.

As to the wolf thing, HAHA! That would either be a lot of wolf, or a lot of failure.

  • Dood wtf? You look Chinese, you should have an AK! LOL

  • I would love to get my hands on an AK variant. Just no money or time to look for one right now.

  • HAH you're funny.

That will depend on which school you're at.

I kid, and I hope you are doing the same too.

  • u got nice rifle..u should not use WOLF ammo......I would only shoot WOLF ammo,if i had AK or SKS.

  • I haven't had a problem with wolf ammo yet. the way I see it, if the rifle eats it, feed it. Then again, I seldom use wolf ammo now since they have a bi-metal jacket, and it's hard to find a range in CA that will let you use them.

  • p.s.s. did u find out bout lan world from the billboard on the 60freeway?

  • Funny thing actually, after I ordered from Lanworld, a week later, I saw their billboard, it was kind of funny to see that.

  • Dude, i got all my stuff from JandJ too. They used to be really good and the guys very informative.... I went back like a week ago, and they SUCK!!!!! Checkout MOZOgear in Costa Mesa. I guess all the "Good/Cool" guys went there. Better prices, more informative, and All around better. P.S. that stag ROCKS!!

  • I've read some pretty nasty stuff that they've been doing lately. Probably not going there again. I'll refer to MOZOgear or riflegear in the same area.

  • when you order the complete upper online, do they send it straight to your house or do you gotta go to a FFL and do a background check?

  • Uppers are not classified as firearms in themselves. They can be shipped straight to your doorstep. No FFL or special shipping requirements. :)

  • AR 15 and M4 are the same?

  • m4 is military/ has full auto capabilities, but yes, basically the same

  • nice build, what was the total price with the BB on it?

  • how much did you spend in putting this Ca legal Ar15 together. Does Stag arms make Ca legal Ar 15?

  • Hello,

    Who makes your quad rail?

    Thx,

  • The rail as seen in the video is by Samson. It is the Samson STAR-C carbine length free-float clamp on rail. It came with the Stag 2HT upper assembly. I have since upgraded to a Troy MRF-M midlength free float clamp on quad rail.

  • does the a2 front sight post get in the way of your eotech?

  • whered you get the posters!!!

    plz tell...

  • Work, if you live in southern california, maybe you can arrange to pick some up from my place, I've still got hundreds.

  • arrgh i wish i did i live at the very top of CA,

were they especially for your business?

can i find em online anywhere?

  • Mere possession of "hi-capacity" magazines is not a crime. The crime is committed by importing them or selling them within California.

  • This is true. Possession of a high, or standard capacity magazine is legal. It's just the import and manufacture of them that gets you in trouble. Sketchy grounds, proof that the law makers clearly didn't think this through. What else did they mess up on?

  • also in ny you can own a preban mag 30/40 etc and if you put it in a postban rifle its illegal but if its in a prban its not, also vertical grips flash hiders all the stuff that is illegal in ny u can own and have right next to your rifle but if u put it on it its a felony ny gun laws r so fucked up

  • god i love living in the south.

  • I'm looking to start a CA legal AR build pretty soon myself. My question is do you use a screw style magazine lock where you have to break the upper half and load the magazine while it's locked in the magazine well or do you use a Bullet Button style magazine lock?

Also I was looking at the Stag Arms site and they're offering lowers with the parts hit installed for around 200 bucks so I'm wondering if it's worth the extra cash to not have to put all those little parts together.

  • you got 2 get the hell outa cali gun laws suck

  • For sure, if it weren't for my family and friends being here, I'd be out of here by now.

  • did you build the lower by yourself? all those little parts look hard to assemble, but it's cheaper... any links? i'm going to build one, as it's cheaper over time and doesn't blow your wallet all once.

  • Yes, put together the lower myself. It is a little cheaper, but then again, I built mine when LPKs were still $55, and lowers were $130. But actually, if you look hard enough, and are lucky enough to find some in stock, they can be had for pre-obama prices. It's actually not too hard to put it together as long as you have some of the basic required tools.

  • great review bro im a cali resident currently in missouri im about to buy a stag 15tl for 1000 new so im happy...

  • not a bad price by today's standards, have fun!

  • so can high cap mag like 20rds 30rds mag fit in that ca legal ar-15. i know ca only allow 10rds gay ass mag.

  • Yeah, they will fit, but it won't be legal to have them, or use them.

  • will if u want 30rds mag just go to nevada and buy it their and come back their no boarder patrol check point.but it a crime to do that if i have an ak/ar and i live in california i will hella do that shit. cause 10rds mag make it look crap. and if the police find out just tell them u got the mag b4 the 2001 high cap mag ban :D

  • Becareful, I hear thay got those undercovers patroling the nevada shops and will follow you to the border. Well, thats what i've been told by the way..

  • thank for the tip my cousin did that twice and didnt get caught but thank i will tell my cousin to be more careful

  • Comment removed

  • I don't see how breaking the law is helping gun supporters. I see it as damaging the reputation of all real gun supporters, since after all, importing high-capacity magazines is a felony. Frankly, it's pretty stupid to be talking openly about it on the internet, especially somewhere as public as youtube. As criminals, if you claim to be gun supporters, you will make us all look bad.

  • that my friend is FUD. i got a couple 30 rounders that im gonna be storing in hidden place away from the AR.

  • If they are pre-ban, and you've had them before the ban legally, by all means, use them in a legal manner. If they are illegal post-ban high-capacity magazines, and you are knowingly using and possessing them, you are in commission of a felony. Don't make it easier for the gun-grabbers to label gun owners as criminals. Sure the laws are beyond retarded, but it's the law after all.

  • 20 and 30 rd mags are not HIGH capacity they are standard something like a 50 would be high capacity.

  • Nevermind on my last comment. great video 5/5!.

  • how do you reload the mags then? take it apart? i dont live i cali but i'm just curious

  • Check out my "Shooting my AR" video and you'll see me dropping the mag with a pair of pliers at the end of it.

  • I agree im curious too. How do you reload the mags?. I'm assuming its not practical in a self defense situation.

  • Stay out of self defense situation. OR learn the one-shot-one- kill method.

  • Thats what the 12g is for :)

  • Glad I got mine in '99, 30rd's ftw.

    Xm-15e2s...Bushmaster...the best.

  • hardly

  • @NIKON777 Colt lover? lol poor fellow

  • How To Screw With A Liberal, Part 4,235: Refer to your black AR as a "Rifle Of Color", and state that any gun grabbing lib is engaging in a "hate crime" if he demands its seizure and destruction. *wink*

  • Damn. I feel for you guys in Kalifornia. That state's gun laws suck hairy balls. I would rather be homeless than live in that f*cking state! >:-(

  • BTW My last comment was aimed at 308scoutrfl. Good vid by the way.

  • i cant find a lower parts kit

  • I'd be surprised if you could find one. Those things are rare nowadays. I got mine for $55. They're going for as much as $100 now, that's if you can fund them.

  • dude seriously does LAN WORLD INC ship AR parts to california???

  • Yes, I got my .22LR upper, LPK, stock and receiver extension from them.

  • cool ill check them out

  • i bet that evlblkrfl kills people every day! who would need such a rifle? it has no sporting use,and that bayo lug, is just wrong!youre just baby killers, out for blood! us democrats know better! who needs a 30 round "clip"? thats just a long range sniper rifle made for killing babies! its colored black because, black resembles death! that .223 is just a long range killer! Kalifornia, and PETA rule!!!

  • OUT FOR BLOOD..............People like you that don't get it.You think that all people that have one of these are just out to kill people......NO.I own one myself, and just enjoy the sport of shooting.Black resemles death,OH BOY!!!!!! Go huge on a tree democrat scum. You must not like freedom do you.

  • oops! forgot to put LOL or someshit. i was being sarcastic guys! i am a gun nut.got 2 ARs,sks,m1a scout etc, etc. sorry bout that!that comment actually comes from the kalifornia democratic party.

  • hey does LAN WORLD INC ship AR parts to california???

  • do another video w/ the mbus.

  • I did, check my page. Did it I think last monday or sunday.

  • Shame your state requires you to neuter those guns...if I were you I would have a regular mag release to put in for SHTF. Cool gun, I feel bad for you living in California. I've been to San Diego, nice weather/climate but you couldn't pay me to live in CA. Its just one giant clusterfuck IMO. You should move to Nevada, you wouldn't have to deal with all the CA laws and bullshit.

  • fixed mag is pretty dumb, its really a pretty useless law isnt it

  • VERY Useless.

  • i have a question to put on that sight did u need to but a part that you can mount it to the top

  • For that optic, no. EOTechs usually come with integrated mounts.

  • help me built a rifle, dude! dunno where to go.

  • If you're local, I don't mind helping you out with the building part, thats easy.

BUT! The hard part is finding the parts.

  • I'm located in LA area.

  • I'm located in Rowland Heights, CA (LA County)

If you can get the parts together, I'd be more than happy to help you out.

  • you don't know a place where to get them? i want a 20" barrel with A2 sights and a collapsible buttstock.

my coworker is full of shit. he now, keep giving excuses about his uncle that hasn't returned his calls.

  • remember dude you have a fixed mag rifle. so you are supposed to have a fixed mag in it at all times. tech you can only take out the mag when working on it(reloading counts). so when driving to the range have a empty mag fixed in place.

  • OK dude drill out the mag button and catch and have a real ar-15

  • OK dude, I can just as easily put in the original mag release button. HOWEVER, it would be and illegal unregistered assault weapon by definition of the CA DOJ :(

  • how much did it cost?

  • you should get the bullet button wrench.

it screws on and off of the bullet button in seconds without taking the gun apart and lets you drop the mag like normal.

its great for if you go outside of california (or just in an area where nobody will know about it *hint hint*), and that way you can get some reloading practice with it.

the best part is its about $5 not including shipping.

  • awesome dude. i got a bushmaster but I really want a left handed stag! that's precisely the model I'm looking at pretty much. decent review. And good to see you know your rifle well. I wouldn't mind having you as my neighbor. haha I wish I guy like you would have had something like that on them when that parole violator shot the cops in Oakland. he could have been stopped sooner. cheers bro.

  • nice piece bro. good taste with the EO Tech. a bipod would be a nice add on. too bad the ten round mags make the CA legal ones look neutered in a way. its also pretty weak that foregrips are illegal. what kind of ish is that?! a foregrip? CA is ridiculously ignorant with the gun laws. anyway i'm in the process of building one in CA for myself actually. i was wondering why you didn't consider a bullet button in place of the magazine lock. my friend has a monsterman grip but its whack

  • basicly from what i understand here in la u can have an ar-15 if u have a raddlock and 10rnd mags.?

  • oo nice gun, o and also u look like my cousin lol, subscribed WOOT

  • A Collapsable Stock is Legal in California???

  • Yes, if configured correctly (ie: rendering the semi-auto centerfire rifle incapable of accepting a detachable magazine [by the use of a magazine locking device])

  • yes as long as it is a fixed mag set up and 30 oal when closed

  • Nice G&G poster in the background. ;)

  • Ahem, posterS. Haha, I got them from work. I work airsoft retail. Go figure :P I've got a ton left if you want any.

  • hey bro nice gun in this video. if you still have any of then G&G posters i would like one =]. lol.

  • I've got a lot left, what kind of guns are you looking for? I've got M4s plenty M14's LR300s, UMP, L85 and maybe an SR-25. Let me know which ones you want, you can paypal me $5 to cover the shipping, and I'll ship them in a tube so they wont be folded. Better to message me from this point on, haha.

  • Are Colt AR 15 5.56 mm Semi rifle legal in Los Angeles, California? or are most of the AR15s out here in California in generally .22 rifles that looks like AR 15s?

  • No, they are on the banned list by name.

You can get a number of different brands that make AR-15 style rifles and receivers.

Most that you see are chambered in 5.56, but many people have either dedicated .22LR uppers, or drop in .22LR Ciener kits.

  • so then whats the specific age u have to be to purchase one and where and which rifle is best stag arms or bushmaster? (5.56 chamber not a .22)

  • 18 for any long gun, rifles, shotguns, and the like.

Caliber doesn't matter as long as you meet the other requirements.

Most guns are built to the same spec, I've never had a problem with my stag, and I've never used a BM, since those are now banned by name in CA.

  • so whats a good rifle u would suggest? and i airsoft by the way :D

  • Depends on what you want to use it for. pretty much any rifle, even a .22 is fun to plink around with. mine is pretty simple I use it for target shooting and plinking.

  • I mean I want to use it for sports shooting but are stag arms legal in california?

  • Yeah, the stag Stag-15 model is not on the banned list.

As long as it is legally configured, you're good to go.

If you want more info check out calguns (google it, youtube wont let me post a link)
