@ArePenguinsAwesome you do know that %90 of meat in the US comes from factory farms.. so yes unless it says ' free range ' on the chicken or any animal i guarantee %100 that it comes from a factory farm.
he Meatrix is PRO animal torture and PRO animal murder. The Meatrix is welfarist. The Meatrix advocates that we should all still enslave, exploit and murder animals
There is no dairy without slavery and murder. There are no eggs without murder, no skin without torture and murder, there are no products tested on animals without torture and murder.
hmm i wonder if anyone pointed out the irony of all the animals wearing leather jackets and sunglasses made from petroleum based plastics...certainly not animal friendly is it
So, killing the evil corporations and restoring the idealistic family farm utopia would be enough for the animal rights wackos? No. They would not stop until pigs could run for political office.
Meat needs to be outlawed. Boo-hoo. Tough shit if you anti-vegans don't like it.
I am forced to pay for YOUR love of corporate welfare: my taxes go to the meat & dairy industry. I am forced to pay for all YOUR unjust laws that YOU force on others ( e.g. pot smokers, I don't smoke pot) and myself (tax breaks for churches).
@grooveryda No, you are being unreasonable. That's because you do not have the mental capacity to compute the magnitude of the things vegans are forced to pay for in taxes but not reap the rewards - such as animals in laboratories & the meat industry - which actually COST of because we have to FIGHT them through groups like PETA, versus the massive benefits the meat industry gets.
That's because you refuse to apply MATH to the issue of fairness.
Really? You do know that if we went back to the old ways of farming then the cost of goods will increase. That is the same reason that organic food is more expensive then the other stuff. I am a low income student, the products that these factory farms are safe and more affordable.
@IceBlueRhino Yeah, that's the tradeoff. See, it's basically,
Big Corp Comp. "Fine, you people want natural healthy foods? Then we'll raise the prices of them so you feel obligated and pressured NOT to buy those foods and buy our highly toxic food products. Have a nice day!"
But, those foods I can heavily gurantee they are ABSOLUTELY NOT good for you. Genetically Modified Foods are NOT good for you. Watch Food Inc., and listen to Kevin Trudea.
@IceBlueRhino These food factories are not sustainable. So, we can only have that cheap food for some time. In the long term we must think about solutions that respect the environment while allowing all people to eat healthy. A food revolution is needed.
I was in the middle of eating a pastrami sandwich when I started watching this and had to stop and go get me a bacon burger. The video started to make me sick, but the beef and pork soothed my stomach.
They don't mention the rendered dead animals that are collected from animal shelters that have been killed and are ground up, cooked and the emulsion is mixed with the feed that is fed to these animals... Oh... Did I mention that this emulsion also goes into dog food cat food chicken feed etc etc... Thats how they boost the PROTEIN... dead animal emulsion. I work at a plant that did that... I Know.
@GunClingingPalin Or that when they "debeak" chickens when their actually chicks in order to keep them from going crazy and fighting each other to death.
Okay, I'm against factory farming because it's fucked up, but this video is bullshit. It's dripping with one-sided arguments, agendas, and lies.
"The Corporate Machine"
Really?! What, are reminiscing to when you were 15 and listening to Rage Against the Machine wearing a Che Guevara T-Shirt pissed off in our suburban bedroom?
Drop the leftist crap. Make a REAL argument to deal with the VERY SERIOUS ISSUE of inhuman treatment of animals. This is the kind of shit is noxious.
Cover your mouth with your hand 2. Make a wish 3.Close your hand (fist) 4. Hold your hand at heart for 5 seconds 5. Send this to 3 more videos 6. Tommorrow will be the best day ever it actually worked Money- you will find a wad of $200 in cash Love- Your crush or lover will kiss you or ask you out
<--- certified butcher.... This video perfectly conveys how everybody wants to have their cake and eat it too. If your not complaining about the animal cruelty (Of animals who are bred to be killed) Then your complaining about the inefficiences of farming animals, talking about product vs. square foot compared to growing vegetables. Whatever.
@ExodusFaces Just because we don't have all the answers doesn't mean this isn't a serious problem. We should be spreading awareness about factory farming
@GoIsles8083 Awareness of what exactly? I don't think anyone is 'unaware' anymore. It's not hidden, it's not a secret. And once everyone is 'aware' what is the plane after that? Starve?
@ExodusFaces there are alternatives like he said they are trying to promote healthy living basically if we switch over the the companies that treat their animals right then the big companies wont make enough money and will be shut down
@Kanshiwtf Okay, and then what happens? Stop giving your money to the big company, so you go to farmer John... And then in your 'optimal situation' everyone goes to farmer john because he treats his livestock better. Farmer John makes more money, has bigger and bigger orders and has to find a more efficient way to store his livestock to meet the demands of his consumers, and then farmer john because the big meat factory that you are protesting.... I don't get the benefit.
@ExodusFaces but as long as you buy locally there will be LOTS of farmer johns not just one big company, buying locally can make sure that farmer john is only providing meat to his town or county etc, that way every town will have its own farmer john
@Kanshiwtf But that's how ALL the big plants start out. They ALL start locally and then grow. It's economics, that's how it works. No company starts out nationwide. They start as small local companies and expand and expand and expand. Wal Mart used to be a local shop, and now look at it. I'm just saying, if that's your cause, if that's what you stand for, if it makes you feel good about what you're doing, then absolutely more power to you. Just as long as you do know the facts about the process.
@ExodusFaces That is probably a sad reality, I do know the facts but eh, I guess with enough push for laws we can ensure large scale meat producing with natural ways and animal rights
@ExodusFaces Aware of where their food comes from. and i dont know where you're from but the majority of people i know aren't aware. it IS hidden, and it IS a secret. corporations pay off farmers not talk to the public about how their farms are run, and many are contractually obligated to deny any outside video acces to their farms for news, documentary, or other purposes. And obviously i'm not suggesting we starve; like I said, we don't have all the answers to these problems
@ExodusFaces If you were a "certified butcher" wouldn't you be agreeing with us too? Places like this work on a factory line and cut out the middle men like professional butchers (who would notice bad meat). Also animals like pigs are smarter than dogs, yet are still being tortured to this extreme. If people as a majority don't respect nature and protect it - who will?
@ArtistAries What are the quotations for? No I wouldn't be agreeing with you because factory disassembly can only go so far. A machine can not make precision cuts that a trained professional can, so there is no way a machine will take the job of a butcher. Atleast not in my life time.
I remember seeing this at a young age, not thinking about it really cause I was a bit too young to comprehend it. The problem is with a lot of natural, unadulterated family farm meat is that it costs much more than the stuff at the grocery store. I have no intention of going veg, so I've undeniably been eating the stuff you get at the grocery store rather than the better stuff. Once this meat isn't so pricey, I'd be more than happy to try it.
hi, i would like to stop eating meat from factories, but i am only 13. how can i tell my parents to stop buying factory meat. how do u tell the diffence? also, i support this bc i have stop eating beef completly! i havent had it in 4 years! :) please write me bacK
2 the best way is to find a local small time farmers market the smaller and less advertised they are the more organic and fair it is to the animals and fresher fruits and veges
3suport these stores and show your parents there the better way to not just eat but its less cruel

@ArePenguinsAwesome no.. for example a whole chicken from walmart which is not procesed would still come from hormone and anti biotic sick chickens.
Free range or organic free range chicken is 'better farms' how ever you would never find meat like that in a normal shop.

Factory farming needs to be banned.
If you want to eat meat, go eat roadkill.
Take responsibility for your own actions. It's not the animals' responsibility to make YOU less hungry.
