slip is the hardest place to field becoz i usually field at slip(in my cricket team in melbourne) and its reali hard. epscially when the delivery is reali quick and suddenly u just hav to dive and if u drop it it everybody will swear at u lolz

You can't always say that, as far as I'm concerned Backward Point//Point are the hardest catches - As the ball is being hit EXTREMELY hard at them.

slip catching isn't that dificult. i am a slip fielder and u have to think that every ball is going to come to you. people drop catches in slip because they dont think its going to come to them. no matter what shot the batsman is playing u have to think its coming to u. i have taken all the catches that came to me.

I guess the bowlers your facing are 130kph +

OR if its a spinner they bowl 90kph and you stand only a foot behind the keeper (at 1st slip).

Slip fielding against bowlers who bowl in excess of 145kph is difficult, especially due to the fact that once a nick comes sometimes it can get caught in the crowd that is visible past mid on (On the higher catches).

the most difficult positions to field at are point and slips.

Fielders must be trained for these specific positions.
