Re bagpipes in Santiago de C: the town is in Galicia which was settled by Celts. So it's not surprising that there are bagpipes there.

Yes, indeed, Pussysitos. We have said many prayers for Madeline McCann and her family.What a horrific tragedy. I hope it can remind parents to keep their children close at all times and not to live in fear because such tragedy is extremely rare in this world.

Still, something that haunts all parents.We have seen her poster up as far away as a Greek campground & our relatives all wrote to us about her in case we missed it in the news. Heartbreaking. May prayers & love enfold her & her family!

Yes, it is a surprise to see so many Celtic traditions there! My people from my father's side come from the Isle of Skye in Scotland ...so I must admit bagpipes always warm my heart too!

Yes, haleydearest, she is very lucky. She hears that all the time and knows it, but I am not sure she will fully understand until she is older. It just seems like normal life to her.
