@Eliseharris I just love your vids, they are so natural and you are so lovely. I would like to re-make all mine but my computer is not letting me for some reason. X
Most of my gran's stuff got shipped to my auntie in France. I got her piano but it needed repair and my father wasn't prepared to fork out the money to do so. He sold it for £50. I was not happy.
Me Mom scored $85,000 as did her sister and brother, but wouldn't let me have the 2000 Honda Camery willed to me. Sold it WAY under book value and giggled like a school girl at her bounty. That kept me from unloading my 1993 Chevy Caviler for a sure $1200, phooey.
But yeah, I don't consider a piano to be an inanimate object, shame.
That was so good, you're good at so many different things. I hope you feel better now, sorry to hear you've been ill. You wont know who I am becuase I've never made any videos, but I've had youtube for a while and you're one of the people I watch on here xx
My grandmother died on the day of my uncle's funeral. It was a difficult time for everyone. (The uncle was on the other side of the family and my other grandmother, his mother, never got over it and died about a year after that.) The 1990s was not a very happy decade for my family.
Wonderful poem. I'm glad you're feeling better, after your New Years video I almost offered to dance a little jig to cheer you up. Now it seems I won't need to do that.

The circa 50s washing machine that she kicked and screamed in defense of its repair, though a new one rested at the ready in her garden shed.
Convenient modern cooking utinsels, unpacked, divvied up upon her death.
Front room entered for first time without dread of her nervousness, then her treasured Best became our burden to store or throw away.

Chilling! Both me Grand Mums existed parallel in time and demeanor to yours.
Cupboards, drawers, and the attic of garage crammed with empty washed out plastic disposable food containers.
