planning on traveling to winterhold once i've reached whiterun question can you buy powerful spells from there or do u have to learn with the mages to learn them

@SamDaManVLOGS You can get pretty much up to at least adept and maybe some expert spells from Whiterun. The most powerful spells are bought from the mages at Winterhold. You may have to do a quest to unlock the master level spells for purchase. Have to reach 100 in the magic skill first though.

@SamDaManVLOGS tip, make sure to see the wizard in whiterun to buy spells. buy fireBOLT, conjure sword, conjure flame atronarch, soul trap, and whatever else floats your boat (got flame cloak and rune)

If your talking about the door that is barred you have to click on the wooden plank and it opens the door. Noticed the door leading to the ladder outside of the final ruins is also barred. I'll have to look around the college since I haven't completed every single side quest. Maybe they'll have one with the fragments. Only one I found with the amulet fragments is the Forbidden Legend quest line.

I am trying to find these amulet fragments of a mission for the college and I was about to leave the 3rd dungeon you enter and I can't open this door and the pullchain isn't working

@karnavor666 same, and for some reason i have been to the midden, but the college is not giving me quests any more, any suggestions?
