for me instead i bought a 190E with 2 litter petrol engine (122 HP) from 1983 (i have ABS,air conditioning,4 electric glases,original radio casette Blaupunkt).
A bigger engine :) My first MB was a 190E 2.3 with automatic transmission. All I wanted more was a 2.6L engine :) Now I have a 230CE W123 and W211 E320 and I dream of an E500 or CLS500....... It is just that You always want more ... MORE POWER :)

all i want is my 190E .
my next car will be a W124 (for comfort) with automatik or perhaps a 116 with a V8 engine (3.5 litter petrol engine with automatik).
The main reason for me not buying a car with a big engine is the insurance and the tax for a 3.5 litter V8 is around 1000 euro in Romania.
that's the reason why i have my 190E on Bulgaria .
i wish you many milion of km with these great cars.
