man that was a cool slo-mo. I wonder how large of a particle you could make that would still act like the little star in the first part. like could you make a star as big as a pea and still have it burn all the way through befor it explodes? or even larger, would be fucking sweet if you could make a large ball that would fizzle for a few sec and then detonate!
@demnlordd666 Hehe, thanks alot, i was thinking the same thing actually, make abit bigger dragon egg, there are other possibilites, make a slowburning bp star with a small egg in the senter, ive made those before, but then they spark so much that it would be very much disturbens for the camera to pick this close, but hey! Ill think hard on this one;)
do you make your red lead? and if so what is the synth process that you use? ive tried a couple things that involve lead dioxide in order to make the triplumbic tetroxide (red lead) but it never works :/
i thought you were describing my anh. CuSO4 + Mg ^^ that might be what it is.. some really powerful thermite.. it detonates if you spread it out on large enough area and make it all glow.. could be anh. cuso4 + mg as core in dragon eggs???
@antiswattt3 : it is in this case red lead and copper oxide, but also a bit of MgAl, you find the recipe at pyroguide (dot) com, go there and read all about it ;)

really nice.. but how does a dragon egg work? like FP core or what? :S
antiswattt3 1 year ago
@antiswattt3 :Its more like a thermite reaction, it glows to a point then it all explodes at once, its the best example i can think of
