Milestone achievements do give you weapons, It's the only way to guarentee the weapons. Milestones existed before the random drop system did. The random drop system is just to give you the change to unlock items before you'd normally get them and find items for the crafting system.

You unlock them through earning achievements, once you have enough achievements you earn a milestone achievement that will unlock a weapon for that class. The other way is to recieve a random weapon drop and get the items that way.

No, only the PC version recieves major updates like extra weapons and achievements.

The Xbox 360 version occasionally gets a patch.

The PS3 version gets no updates and never will. Unfortunately EA did the PS3 port, Valve will have nothing to do with it and, well, once EA have got the game out there they tend not to go back to it.

Anyway, Valve is working on it but the default game needs to be optimized first so that the hardware can handle the new stuff. It's also likely that MS will slap on an additional charge on the update(s) even though Valve wants to offer it for free.

well we just wanted to see if the stuff can kill a SG. we wanted to do it quick so we left it go empty.

BUT i have killed a sentry with the airblast whilst ubered. the taunt kill can be done with uber but its hard because you get pushed back.

you can also air blast a SG if the engee has spamed the SG with a dispenser. or if the SG is far away and a medic is healing you.

Hmm, I totally didn't know you could tauntkill a sentry gun. I don't know if it has been fixed yet, but amazingly enough I have been tauntkilled by someone on the losing team after the game. :(

On instances of a tie happening, Pyros can switch to their shotgun/flaregun by pressing Q (which changes between your current weapon and your previously used weapon) and simply tauntkill anyone they actually get to.

We use up the ammo of the sentry gun for the purpose of the demo. (By creating a dispenser and standing behind it.) But you can do it using an uber in game. Then you just use the compressed air blast of the pyros normal flamethrower to blast back the rockets.

it dosent take long. but since the rockets fire slower they dont run out as fast.

one thing i also forgot to mention was that is possable to fire back sg rockets in game even when the sg has full ammo, as long as you stand far enough away.

i managed to take out an engee with his own rockets the other day, tho the regular bullets killed me in a matter of seconds.
