  • that 1 dislike better of been a terrible accident, otherwise that person has no busines here.... Thanks for the video, nice to see them in action. looked realy fun too!

  • I'm thinking the accuracy difference had a lot to do with technique.

The BAR was firing mostly 3-round bursts. The Bren was usually more.

  • The Bren didn't seem as accurate as the BAR which is surprising. The Bren was always touted as a very accurate light machine gun. The BAR is very accurate in this vid.

  • @rdr064 The single major complaint about the BREN from WW2 from fire team and platoon leaders was that it was to accurate... A light machine gun looses some of it's functionality as an enemy suppression weapon if this is the case. The BAR has other major problems but accuracy has been rarely brought up in conversations I've had.

the BREN being less accurate in the vid is probably the skill level of the 2 users with the added feel that the BREN operator is rushing more. 2-5 rnd bursts vs 2rnds

  • Amazing sound!

I'm going to record the M1918 firing sound from this video to use in my Battlefield 1942 mod. Thank you! I've been working on a very realistic texture, its iron sights animations, and now I have sound! Thanks, it took me hours-on-end to find a high-quality video for me to record. Thanks again!

  • What was the NFA paperwork like for those? Haha don't you have to be military, law enforcement, or have some other related job to get the paperwork approved?

  • @thatguynamedbrent you don't have to have any sort of special job for it...just a clean criminal record and residency in a state that allows NFA stuff...oh and lots of money haha

  • Are there dies available to reload .303?

  • A Bren! My dream MG~! Lucky guys...and not too easy to find shootable quantities of .303 Brit milsurp either. I had the distinct pleasure of firing a Turkish contract Bren in 8mm Mauser some years ago, and that hooked me on the gun. Wonderful stuff.

  • my dad was shaking his head at the score of the Bren, apparently when he used the LMG in 7.62 it was far more accurate.

  • You two were just having too much fun. Heads on view made me flinch every time.

  • Great stuff! thanks for posting.

  • begining to sound to sound musical. takes teamwork.

  • I always miss the fun stuff...

  • the bren really didnt do as well as I had expected, I think the ammo didn't do so well with the bren, maybe try comparing same year production ammo from say privi partisan

  • Fantastic experiment! I was expecting better things from the Bren, to be honest. Great vid - keep 'em coming.
