Without men like Lenin and Stalin, Russia and thereby the USSR would have remained a small power compared to the rest of the powers of the world. And compared to other statistics eg, 1959 - 1970 (Which saw an increase of around 32,685,000 people) to statistics of the USSR under Stalin's rule eg, 1937-1951(Which saw an increase of around 19,821,000). Without men like Lenin and Stalin, Russia and thereby the USSR would have remained a small power compared to the rest of the powers of the world. Yes these men all killed millions, but their contributions to the power of their nation to today should be seen as their lasting achievement. Compared to what their country was, they left it better then they found it as.

It is an opinion, and a dumb opinion. It is a fact that Hitler started WW2.
Hitler did so because he wanted revenge on France and England for winning the first war. He was a young soldier in the WWI and felt that Germany was shamed after the war. So he started the second to gain respect back and to prove that their country was also a great superpower. He believed in racial purification and wanted to take over Europe and remodel it the way he wanted.

No the treaty of Versailles has nothing to do with WW2. Germans lost WWI a treaty was signed, the treaty excluded Germany from the negotiations which caused protests in Germany. And marx said that property should be taken away, inheritance should be abolished, there should be a combination of agriculture with industry and a centralization of credit in the hands of the state aswell as the abolition of religion to stop alienation. He probably could have if he cut off the Russian supply lines but no. This is what Hitlers own men told him. Hitler was very different from Stalin. @havee3333333 - the red army was weakened by the purges because stalin had the armed forces purged, and generals etc were killed. maybe stalin wasn't unprepared in terms of weapons, tanks and other war materials, but he didn't believe that hitler would attack russia as well as on the western front, so he was unprepared.

He did kill generals which weakened the red army but he also built more advanced technology to catch up to Europe which they wouldn't have had if it wasn't for the purges. He did kill people, but the population of Russia increased every year during the purges. Stalin was a very paranoid man. And compared to other statistics eg, 1959 - 1970 (Which saw an increase of around 32,685,000 people) to statistics of the USSR under Stalin's rule eg, 1937-1951(Which saw an increase of around 19,821,000). Thats 12,864,000 people less than the figures afer Stalins death. Thats 12,864,000 he could have killed. Stalin's still a murderer. Thats something no one can denie.

When Stalin wanted to collect the land some of the farmers burned all their crops. This happened 60 years ago and we still don't know the whole truth. Let us just leave it at that.

@havee3333333 In the case of starvation, Stalin didn't send the peasants a telegraph asking them nicely to hand over their grain to the state to which they refused. He sent the army in straight away and took the food, wether the peasants would have said yes or no, it didn't make a difference. And btw, many of the people Stalin killed listened to him, Like the generals and the workers who were killed based on stupid evidence eg/ For having a Japanese name.

Stalin made his country 2nd in the world in economy and he brought a lot of new land to Russia, unlike Kim Jongil who steals his countries money for himself. If Stalin had little success I am sure less people would like him. And Kim Jongil is still liked in North Korea. I am sure if Stalin had lived longer he would have ran another purge to make up for Russia's WW2 debts.He would also have tried to make Russia more self sufficient so it wouldn't need to count on other countries for its economy like it does today.Stalin ran a very unstable system of communism and made it work for much of his term.If Stalin did not become the dictator of Russia the USSR would have crashed several decades before 1991. And the Russians would have such a good military

Why listen to this? This is a video full of western propaganda against one of the worlds biggest heroes.
