one of the reasons i love this song is because it has everytype of music in it that this band plays from a spanish guitar to rock to a narreter. Its a long song, but its a song i would listen to over and over again cause its that damn good. Not many bands can create a 19 min epic song

It's very jarring to go from 4 amazing songs straight into a mediocre thrash song, and then back into amazing music again. If I'd had my way(fantasy land here) I'd have removed track 5 completely.

It doesn't FIT with Rhapsody at all.

Plus, their English is.... shaky? at the best of times.

Having them scream it as fast as possible? Not musically pleasant.

@GoodAvatar you are free to have that oppinion, but listen to those senteces you'll notice they aren't really saying it that fast and you mostly can't really discribe it as 'screaming' either. and it is brillianty followed up by some excelent melodic music. I can't really see the death trash in even a second of the intire song. it may not be what you are used to with rhapsody, but it fits them most decently. and who cares if their english is shaky, it's just one of their beauties.

But When Demons Awake is just TERRIBLE.... Eh, that's not fair. It's just nowhere in the same category as the rest of the album. I can see what they were going for with that song, and they failed.

I don't mind them trying new things, but that was THE shitty song in an otherwise perfect album.
