That's just greedy, if a writer gets paid more than 75,000 a year (on average) he/she shouldn't be bitching. Also, it's as if they write something down and then they sell the paper, after that it's not theirs.
Plus don't they have a contract, they should have thought of it before they signed.

Dude even though I have a flat screen, I haven't watch it that much since I got. I have over 600 and something channel and all I can tolerate to watch is reruns on Cartoon Network and Comedy Central with the occasional TBS and USA. Everything else is pretty much crap. I live on the internet, I start to freak out like somebody just died when I loose my connection. Fuck TV.

I would support organizations like the Writer's Guild, but I don't for one simple reason: They are not the only group of people getting screwed.
For example, contrary to popular belief, people that make video games don't always get their shares for their work. (Very few companies pay royalties)
Then there's the argument as to whether or not a writer should get royalties, but screw everyone else that put work into making the season possible!
To be fair, everyone should be screwed equally.

mainly because I can't find very many people who produce consistently good content somewhat regularly.
come on, a youtube video is like two minutes, on average.
the average TV show is roughly 24-48 minutes (w/o commercials, idiots), that means I have to watch 12 or 24 shows to kill the same amount of time I kill watching 1 tv show.

I'm not really big on most T.V. because of the dumb reality t.v. Lately YouTube has my attention. I like this video. The young man is talented. Maybe a bit too fast in the speach, but this was very good. I would like to see more.

Dude even though I have a flat screen, I haven't watch it that much since I got. I have over 600 and something channel and all I can tolerate to watch is reruns on Cartoon Network and Comedy Central with the occasional TBS and USA. Everything else is pretty much crap. I live on the internet, I start to freak out like somebody just died when I loose my connection. Fuck TV.
