Took a ride on this model and year and I am very impressed. I own a ninja250R, and going to this was just freaking awesome. It was so smooth yet crisp, the gear changes were so precise as well. There was also plenty of power in reserve, unlike the little 250.

I didn't like sitting "on top" of the R6. The GSXR felt more like I was sitting "in it". Just a more comfortable feel for me. Can't wait to get through the break-in.

Actually TT&L on $7500 is about $600 in Texas, putting it at around $8100 out-th-door.

I test rode the Yamaha R6 but purchased the GSXR 600 instead. The fit, acceleration curve, looks, and feel of the GSXR way better than the R6 for me.
