@WomanizingBritney, most artists may lip-sync once in a while or sometimes, but the differences between most artists and Britney, is that Britney lip-syncs almost all the time and whenever she tries to sing live she sounds like crap, the backup singers at her concerts sound way better than her. And your right Whitney doesn't sound as good as she use too because she damaged her voice, but nevertheless she still sings better than Britney who was never said to be a good singer, only a good dancer.

I like Britney but she not a real singer. She can lip sing. Britney music is more club music than anything. Whitney is the better singer. People need to stop compareing these people who been out a day or 2 to those ones that has been out n done it all. If u looking to see body, sex n wildness go see Britney, but if u want 2 see a diva, talent,n a voice behind all of that Whitney is who u need to see.

What's funny is that when Britney first came out (My Love Is Your Love era-Whitney), Whitney had already ammased 11 #1 hits and 20 Top 10 hits, and yet even though Britney seems to have been out forever now, she is still young (about as young when Whitney was when she released her I'm Your Baby Tonight album!) The most critical part of Britney's career may come soon as she could drop her boy toy image like Madonna did and release more "adult" music. People still idolize Whitney on Idol/X Factor.

The only reason why people compare these two is the fact that their first names rhyme (end in -itney). Britney was just a toddler when that photo of Whitney at 0:37 was taken. I grew up in the Whitney era, and as soon as Britney came out, I knew it was past my prime, although the bigger picture of pop music around that time really turned sour; I even have a Seventeen issue with Whitney on the cover from the month BEFORE Britney was born! '80s-90s (not 1999) music rules, modern music SUCKS!

I don't even know. That's why Gimme More was such a big deal. It was her highest ranking on the Billboard Hot 100 since Baby One More Time. Gimme More peaked at #3 on the US chart.
