Actually I had a similar problem at one point, turned out it was because I had already exported once to a file with the same name I was trying to export as, and even though I deleted the file, WMM apparently remembered and wouldn't let me save with the same file name again....

there was no solution, I deleted the whole project after putzing with it for 5 hours.

It's a good software for webcam-capturing though. It's actually the only software I found that let me choose the video and the audio source separately.
