Just put the correct parts together and watch my vid over and over. If you need help on certain parts just let me know and Ill try to explain those parts. Good luck

great cover man! Hey I always wondered if devildriver played 7 strings, but couldn't find any tabs to reflect on. Did you play this in Standard 7 string tuning BEADGBE? or did u play drop B 7 sting inversion? i can see you barring chords on the lowest string.

@XxsixpounderxX Devildriver plays 6 string's tuned to Drop B, B F# B E G# C#, which is similar to what I have mine tuned to. Being that I have that extra string I tune to B F# B E A G# C#, that way my bottom 6 strings are tune like a "normal" guitar but up a step and a half. Devildriver only used the Drop B tuning for their first 2 albums then they went to Drop C tuning C G C F A D. Hope this helps.

Yeah the camera I used it just awful and I didnt want to take the time to make a scratch track and record live guitars and then just place them over the playing. But yes Meshuggah owns all.

thanks man. i encourage you to pick through tabs and find the correct parts and then learn the parts that are wrong yourself. It will develop your ear and it will make you into a better guitar player. Picking out music is the secret weapon of an amazing guitar player. This song is a hard song to pick out but start with more easier songs and work your way up. Guitar takes time and patience but training your ear is invaluable.

I dont know of any tabs that are 100 percent correct and i never made one for this song and honestly ive been too busy here lately to tab it out. Try to get as much from the vid. I had to learn this song by ear because the tabs are garbage. Train your ears. As a guitar player you MUST be able to play by ear and pick out parts. If there is a certain section lmk and ill help.

Well this song really doesn't require the pinky that much. Pinky only needs to be used when needed. I have plenty of other videos with use of the E finger. My pinky believe it or not is stronger than my ring finger. I grew up playing Dimebag and Randy stuff so it was a must early on to utilize that finger.

Not really actually. To get the tone precise you need to bump the string gauge up and im not to keen on alternating string gauges because it throws the intonation off so I just stick with earlier Mesh stuff. Thanks for the reply/
