  • i saw joe in titusville fl. in 96' he stopped the show and said " I gotta go pee " so we waited -- and waited .... and then he came back and JAMMED !! LOL for real !

  • FUCKIN GREAT JAMMAGE!

  • Just give JW an axe, amp, slide and a ol'echoplex and you've got a band !!!

  • If You don't Understand Joe, all you need is a Carved-top H/H elec Git and a high gain amp modelr..... JOE IS AMZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Centuries from now people will be building 7-dimensional tachyon-based models of his TONE... Joe is cooler than this millenium can condense into a commennt\\

  • @SSGreyAndi That's the greatest comment I have ever received. Thank you very much!

  • pas me that joint and relax!

  • Hey its 1972 again . Sounds like the James Gang live

  • amazing

  • Funny thing is, is that Joe sold Jimmy Page his no1 Les Paul in the late 60s. Also credits Jimmy on his 1974 release"So What"

  • @check6ii Sold? I read that he GAVE it to Jimmy. And it's only fair. If you listen to them, they use a lot of the same techniques. Joe is distinctly American and Jimmy shows his British blues roots, but they use a lot of the same syncopations and they're both amazing slide players. I'd love to hear them play together someday. (Have you ever seen the Best, with Joe, Skunk Baxter, Keith Emerson and John Entwistle? Amazing stuff.)

  • Solo too diffuse, directionless. Joe's better with the Eagles, filling a niche and surrounded by other stars.

  • @hfelton Ever hear the term "psychodelic"?

  • @hfelton I bet you don't play guitar.

  • @hfelton ok im pretty sure that joe is better wherever he goes. he could b dead 4 1000 years and still be amazing

  • not bad. if you want great look up homeless guitar master Steve in paris, he makes Joe sound like 1st year student. Ive found three vids on the tube of this master you realy need to see it to believe it.

  • bad ass guitar player ...has his own style...

  • @icthruu4evr Yeah, you'd be stuck with rap, or lady gaga. what the hell.

  • ..dig the chick...

  • @boocho1 Oh Yeah!

  • Beautiful stuff! I love it when he gets into these long solos with lots of echo, it's like you're on a long midnight drive and you forget this is the same guy who carried a chainsaw in his luggage.

  • God I miss those days.

  • @59rbreton I saw him with the James Gang back then...jeez I'm old!

  • My favourite is county fair , that one doesnt get played much

  • @mikesidecar Yes, good song, also "Meadows" and "Mother Says". His early solo stuff is so different from what he did with the James Gang

  • see those homeys looking at Joe...They know he's the shit

  • Nice belt buckle, but what's she doing there?

  • @BettyVanSneeIV

I think it's rather obvious what's going on here, but since you asked the question, I'll provide the answer. She's a background vocalist, and a fine example of one at that! This segment was all instrumental, hence no vocalizations. I hope this helps.

  • @ritterdude ....Sucking Joe's cock helps a little too. Multi-tasker...

  • @AvirtualSwitzerland It kind of goes without saying.

  • @BettyVanSneeIV Who is she?

  • this is the solo part from rocky mountain way, i believe

  • @pikey2905

Actually, he didn't play Rocky Mountain Way, to my dismay. I thought he was gonna do it during the encore, but he did "Life in the Fast Lane".

  • @ritterdude I think it's probably because Joe is getting sick of that song ... seems folks who don't really know Joe's remarkable catalogue always want to hear "Rocky Mountain Way" or "Life's Been Good,' when I'd be happy to hear him honk out a James Gang nugget, or a lesser-known toon from his solo career ...

Mind you, the two songs mentiones are pretty fine songs ...

  • @pikey2905 Turn to stone

  • Which model of Lumix DMC

  • would I be right in thinking this is a playout to 'Turn to Stone'?

  • pardon my superficiality but it's so cool to see joe walsh dressed

'normally instead of like a psychward patient on a 24 hr pass

the dude's talent requires a certain onstage self respect

hey i love the guy his usual stage attire tho? not so much

  • nobody can doubt his soul

  • cool joe .. but i can't really get into it with those added drums ... can you post it without the modifications???

  • This man is my hero :D

  • He gained his talent through witchcraft.

  • Looks like Joe was playing another Carvin guitar. Sure makes it sing!

  • Joe Walsh is the fucking man :D

  • Very Impressive audio and visual quality!

  • @ramitupursnout

Thanks! Not bad for a $350 camera, eh. It's also about 5 years old. I just got the updated version of it.

  • Fantastic! Thank you for sharing. Truly awesome!

  • Hey Joe,

Seems that you have a affection to baby pauls...Where does that come from and what are you favs....???

I love you madly...An American disabled veteran in Denmark

  • da pra ver as horas lah tras xD

  • That suit looks mighty FINE!

  • I'm glad that you liked it. LOL!

  • Haha yea hes a great guitarist! i saw him back in 2009, with the eagles.

  • Good GAWD!! WOW!! :-P

  • @itsstillfriday

Hey, thanks! To my surprise, this video has been looked at alot. Thanks for watching.

  • Very tastey. Thanks for posting. Is this available on DVD?

  • What show is this from?

  • It was at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood, Florida in August 2007.

  • Very cool. Thanks!

  • Joe is the best, thanks for all the licks! But I think I just fell in love with a blonde back-up singer!
