Sheer bliss, the sight and sound of the Lanc and her engines, and those wonderful words of The Bard. From a very proud and grateful Englishman. Per Ardua Ad Astra.

That has to be the one from Coningsby - it often flies over my house. I remember them flying off to Germany in the 1940s and seeing a few crash due to overloading with bombs. A massive firework display for my brother and I from the bedroom window.
THE NOISE OF THIS PLANE WILL RATTLE THE WHOLE HOUSE FROM A MILE .

Shakespeare Henry V Soliloquy (St. Crispin's Day) is a nice addition to the reality of the Battle of Britain.

Superb aircraft, I've seen it many times over the years at various airshows .. I believe the Reg No is PA 474

Thanks Chris. Unfortunately the plane operators cancelled the rest of the flights after Saturday, due to the poor forecast.
As you can see, one or two of us had the best seats in the house. Theres nothing like the sound of those 4 MERLINS.
